Helicopter pad so Mrs Bob can get express help from the flying builder when you get woodworm in your joist or a sagging member that keeps your extension up ?
  2. For some reason I'm reminded of a joke It begins something like "why did Mr. Chicken cross the road?" And if I remember it correctly the answer was "To block off the highway to all cars" But I could have it wrong so if anyone else has the right answer feel free to correct me.
  3. Can anyone help? A little while before the bank holiday weekend, I was admiring a beautiful sun in the sky, but now it's nowhere to be seen. It's a large round disc, sometimes yellow, sometimes orange and occasionally a beautiful dusty reddish pink, it's a much missed and loved thing and I dearly want it back. It used to be located in an east west direction and if you see it try not to look directly at it as its shy, but please make sure it comes back. Please look in your garage, shed, under rainbows or behind clouds to see if it's stuck somewhere as I'm sure it's out there lost and alone and the heavens are crying without it!

Wow So they charged a pound more, did you have any extras that weren't included in the buffet ? Hardly monetary greed if it was ?10 on a ?70 meal then yes that would be but a quid possibly covers the extra cost of protecting you as tables have to be further apart, toilets cleaned between customers and so on. Did you complain at the time or afterwards or just come on here to vent? As for the toilet, in this covid safety world very sensible of them refusing a non customer access, the lack of the ladies details being recorded (as she isn't a customer) presents a problem for track and trace so I have absolutely no qualms with them doing this. Your post sounds more like bitterness or failure to understand that there is a pandemic still outside your door. You say you won't be returning, and that's your choice but I suspect after a toxic rant like that it's them who are the winners. Ps I see you didn't complain about the food so it couldn't have been all that bad now could it.

  11. I have a wild theory how all of this has happened. After a council meeting, the leaders had a few beverages and held a secret cinema event where they watched a film similar to the movie poster below. After a few more drinks they started to believe and devise plans to save us all and before we knew it the monstrous "Healthy Streets" baby was born screaming and kicking. Of course it's just a wild theory with no basis in reality but looking at the statistics quoted by the council, reality obviously doesn't matter!
