  2. Exdulwicher They haven't just invented laws against them, they were in existence already and they are now enforcing them after the two crashes. It does beg a question of should their use be debated with representation from various lobbies to see if they are safe to use in this country, if so what restrictions to where they can be used (for example not on public highways, m25...) and if there is an appetite for them plus what needs to be done to provide charging inferstructure without adding more dirty power sources to the grid I like some of them but again in the right place (not on pavements where pedestrians walk for example)

From what I remember from school, they build the entrance of their nest to be rain proof, bit like a u bend in the toilet, so you will get a few near the entrance but the rest will be sitting there plotting their revenge on the death of Adam , Adam 2, Adam 3, Adam 4.... Best trick is to pour ant powder into the hole and they will take it in to the nest which will kill most of them. But beware of stray dogs, cats and foxes who like to lick it ... They will be gone in a few days, setting up their new nests for next year so better still leave them to it as they do provide a valuable cleansing service against aphids and other annoying little bugs

Just a thought As for the claim that it's a result of terrible cuts to local funding, I'm fed up of that cry especially as I have dealings with councils all over and see how terribly inefficient they are internally.
