It took me 2 hrs to get home last night as the Police had blocked off Old Kent Road by Tesco. There were a bunch of people in foresnic suits - any ideas why?

I live on Dunstans Road and had nothing from the council about this. The traffic is really light at the mo' and they're already causing massive holdups so I hate to think what's going to happen when the brats are back at school.
