  1. Style noooooo Seduction a la Shameless. Hope I wasnt too late to be in the lottery.
  2. Can I have 1777? I will make a donation too. Id offer to donate a 30 min Burlesque dance into the prize pot but the reality is thats a sh1t prize! thank you D
  3. Perhaps in Axeman we have finally found the missing link between modern humans with a sense of charity and kindness and thoughtless neanderthal men with an awareness of fire and meat... St Christopher's is an amazing charity and the help and support offered by hospices to families in terrible times is amazing. Well done Woof! Dxx

  5. As an obsessive OCD punctualist I can attest to the fact that LM was indeed on time for an important rendezvous with friends!
  6. Seconded! indeed minuted! Lovely drinking establishment, I didnt feel too much like a pub. We ordered some pizza which was great and really tasty. What I think was really great was the house wine was good, and the only other place I have been where the house wine was in line with my expectations of how a good house wine should be (ie representing the house!) is one of gordon ramsey's house wine! good place to drink and great subtle background music too.
  7. I also like Bobbi Brown. Maybe the Tom Ford has a voucher which you flash at fellas who you find amaaazingly attractive and funny which guarantees you a really nice snog. I would like this and I would pay ?35 for it.... Back on topic.... I went to the Bermondsey street festival today. i like people who can hoist a whole pig on to a spit and roast it then put bits of pig into a sandwich. My mothers a genius but she's never roasted an entire pig. That's a gift.
  8. This is a ?35 lipstick. I thought I was extravagant being a Chanel only girl. I feel a little cheapened. I like feeling cheap in Chanel.
  9. i am obsessive about being on time. so i always set off stupidly early for things ( more so if they are important e.g trains, planes, job interviews and dates) means when i get to my destination I have a whole 30 mins to fret about the forthcoming scenario. It may explain why I am a highly strung mentalist. Stay being late, for your own mental health.....
  10. and T5 is a nice terminal so at least if you are early it is a nice environment.
  11. You would be amazed! I was getting taxis to T5heathrow for 630 quite a bit over the summer and there is a point where traffic really starts to build and this is from 615-30. Depending on the route the driver takes and traffic it can take over an hour. Annoyingly the earlier you leave it the quicker it is (and significantly so).
  12. Just to clarify I wasnt criticising the school run - in the end we all have to get somewhere on a morning. (wanting to spread general goodwill as an antidote to the general levels of cat fighting on the forum of late) Privatised rail companies. oh dont get me started (seeing any attempt to be a nicer person evaporating) I have just booked a ticket home to see the folks - only by travelling at totally obscure times can you get a ticket which is not utterly eyewatering. trinity Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > dita-on-tees Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > > Most of the problems with buses seem to stem > from > > the phenomenol level of traffic which London > roads > > were not designed to cope with. 13. Yes the cost of buses in london is very good value (certainly with oyster) I am always amazed when I go home at how expensive the bus service is - and there are few other transport options for many people. Buses are infrequent and dont seem to go where you want them to either. Certainly the lack of regulation and non profitable routes explains why the village bus service was not unlike something from the 1950s, with a bus from that era to boot. Most of the problems with buses seem to stem from the phenomenol level of traffic which London roads were not designed to cope with. I used to rely on the P4 to get to work - the service in termtime and out of term time was completely different as the bus would get stuck in traffic in Dulwich Village from the school runs so you would wait for ages and 3 buses would turn up. Outside of term time - you could almost set your watch by the bus. I rather like london buses as they are the perfect places to talk to stangers, particularly old ladies, I just cant help myself....
  14. Yip I used visit different firm, I would have to rely on the goodwill of the client, starve or steal biscuits from the hotel. I ended up pushing maximum density in that job as my eating habits were so bad.
  15. Cashless card catering systems in the office. Queue to check card - no money on it Queue for cash machine Queue for cash loader machine Queue for lunch Queue to pay for lunch Fridays - attempt to purchase lunch based on total amount on card, so not to draw out more money before the weekend, end up with the worlds worst sandwich becaused it is ?2.09 and you have ?2.10 on the card.
  16. Oh I sympathise Twirly I used to get the P4 to work and the same used to happen to me. Since the Overground opened in May and I no longer get the bus and, I no it is nigh on impossible to believe, but I am almost the model of an adjusted person on a morning...
  17. I wanted to like this, I really did as i really want something funny to watch but I managed about 10 minutes. It just made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The only thing I had to distract me was Simon Amstell, he has the face of Jeanne Tripplehorn from Basic Instinct or more recently that US drama about Mormons. Its quite unnerving.
  18. hmm I feel exactly the opposite, I would rather wear the skins of rare species of cute fluffy things than the shame and a likely asbo** resulting from being naked in a public place. **providing they are still around.
  19. Nah there is interbreeding everywhere. My father re-married a woman with webbed toes. Sure sign of something not quite right in the genes. She cant swim either which is the really odd thing.

  21. Oh Ive been howling at the moon for years...
  22. Admittedly its well past the 10 second rule but dust it down it will be grand.... I was at an all girl college at university and the sync'ing of periods is a strange reality. Ha ha maybe the ladies football team will all sync, can you imagine once a month the score will be 11 -0 but with 5 red cards and a 4 match ban for a foul mouthed tirade at the ref for Miss Tees... when I was in Brussels I slept under a skylight and my cycle flipped out I thought I was pregnant but no my cycle was in sync with the moon, ovulation at full and period at no moon. Weird.
  23. I dont know where I stand on menstruation. I think inconvenient is as far as i will commit. But I hate all these gizmos to disguise it like little flowery cases. Nop fairly happy to rummage in my handbag, probably finding an archaic chocolate eclair, and walk to the ladies tampax in hand (actually more of a lillets kinda gal) maybe stop and have a chat with someone. I am female in my 30, I bleed, its normal and I dont want to dress it up like an embarrassed teenager. too much information? yeah too much information. :-$
  24. Really? Oh FFS that's yet another thing to add to my list of "reasons why George Clooney is unlikely to try and sleep with me anytime soon" It was a pretty big list to be honest.
