Darren Feltham has done some great internal painting for us and a nice bit of carpentry on our loft hatch. He's efficient, friendly, and very reasonably priced (also v neat at the end of the day). I'd recommend him for decorating and other jobs around the house as he's also done some plastering for us in the past. [email protected] 07879 233900

Darren has done several jobs for us - filling in around new sash windows, painting and finishing off the woodwork and walls around them; dealing with jammed doors and doors that needed sanding after new carpets were fitted and filling and repairing the ceiling after a water leak. All of the work has been done to a great standard and he?s tidied up perfectly when finished. I would really recommend him and continue to use him. Give him a call 07879 233900.

Goodrich Reception 2014 Meet Your Classmates Picnic
Hill replied to Hill's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hello there Thought it might be a good idea to do do an update and confirm the meet up on Saturday. The weather forecast is looking showery but hopefully it'll give us a break. Can we meet by the lost child point beside the cafe is it's raining but not too wet and then maybe we can go and feed the ducks before having lunch in the cafe if it's too wet for a picnic? If the rain is torrential let's meet inside the cafe and should the sun be shining we can picnic and play games as first envisaged. If anyone wants to drop in or join later please PM me so i can give you my mobile and let know where you can join us. The joys of a British Summer! -
Goodrich Reception 2014 Meet Your Classmates Picnic

I'm really pleased that there's some interest, hopefully they'll be some more over the coming days. I'll PM you both my mobile so we can find each other on the day, but I'd go for in front of the cafe and I'll try and bring some outdoor games as ice breakers. If anyone has any great ideas on that front then bring them along! -
Hello all My daughter is starting reception at Goodrich school in September 2014, as none of her nursery friends or other buddies are starting at the same school it would be lovely to meet some other children before the start of term so there are some familiar faces on the first day. Would anyone like to meet up for a picnic in Dulwich park on Saturday August 2nd from 12.00-14.00? If there are some others who'd like to get together then please let me know. Best wishes C

Car Alarm going off every night c. 3am on Tell Grove
Hill replied to mastershake's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
You can call the non emergency police number 0300 123 1212 and they can check the DVLA records and contact the owner - you should do this when it next goes off. We had the same problem outside our house and the police were really helpful. -
Last night between 23.30-midnight two men were systematically going through the paper recyling in Friern Rood, as Tuesday is collection day most people put their bags out on Monday night. They were wearing high viz jackets using rubbish pincer sticks and torches to rummmage. I was woken up by the sound of the lids being taken off boxes as they looked through for paper. I've reported this to the police but suggest everyone makes sure they shread anything that could lead to identify theft.
