Sold Beautiful Mid-Century style Leather Armchair
gebbjane posted a topic in For Sale & Items Offered
I have 2 Beautiful Mid-Century Leather Armchairs for sale purchased from Mrs Robinson on Lordship Lane SE22 about 6 years ago. The colour of the leather is like an antique black/brown and really is lovely and looks great worn. Couple of scuffs to the bottom of the legs shown in photo. They cost £745 brand new, selling for a bargain price of £750 for the pair or £400 each. Happy for people to come and view in SE22 first. Collection only near Heber School Serious buyers only - payment on collection, cash/transfer. -
And a travel lodge in Peckham now.

It was on last night.

Just out of interest do you know the North Dulwich Charter Catchment on offer day this year as well?

What about some kind of drama party? Maybe a Murder mystery or something similar. Never done one but know there are people out there that do these.

Hi did you ever get a response to this? I’m looking for a gardener to do some general maintenance.

Any groups for singing for children age 4+?
gebbjane replied to JRK's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Not too sure whether Margaret?s Music do, may worth dropping Margaret an email to double check which ones would be suitable for a 4 year old. Margaret is amazing and teaches music and runs the school choir at my son?s school - highly recommend if she has a suitable class. https://www.margaretsmusicltd.com/book/ -
Really recommend Liz Chambers https://m.facebook.com/LAMDA-with-Liz-104757521306166/

Don?t know the size of the old Bank but maybe if true will be more like an Ivy Cafe as in Blackheath and Marylebone same as the brasseries but on a smaller scale.

Dog Kennel Hill School Open Mornings
gebbjane replied to DKH_Friends's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I believe there are still spaces on some of the open mornings for Dog Kennel Hill. Do come along and check it out, it is such a lovely local community school. I personally have had 2 children at the school, my eldest has just moved off to secondary and I have a son in year 4! We especially love the music provision (provided my the wonderful Margaret Omoniyi and her team), brass bands, steel pans, choir, samba drumming and lots of individual lessons available. Also do check out the school?s new onsite Forest School (funded by the Friends of DKH), -
It must be after as we didn?t get offered a place in March (offered in May) and live around 810m away.

Charter School East Dulwich - your view
gebbjane replied to 123abc123abc's topic in The Family Room Discussion
My daughter had just started in year 7 as well, she is really enjoying it so far. I like that she can walk easily to school, communications from the school seem good, homework not excessive. -
There is an active Facebook group of local home educators https://www.facebook.com/groups/DulwichHomeEd/?ref=share

Finally heard back from the council - have been informed they will be making offers from the waiting lists over the next few days.
-
Has anyone heard about movement on the waiting lists after end of March? I contacted our no1 choice yesterday and was told this after telling them I was confused on how they couldn't give me a waiting list position and asking how the waiting list system works in the borough:- ? I completely understand your confusion. usually, as offers are made or declined, we inform Southwark of the updates to our waiting list. If Southwark receives late applications to our waiting list, we rank these accordingly and again send an updated waiting list back to Southwark. This is an ongoing process that continues until the end of August. Currently, Southwark has had a systems issue which they are trying to fix. Once this is fixed, we will update them with any offers we wish to make and they will update us with declined offers and new additions to the waiting list. Until then, we are not in a position to give out waiting list positions. I hope this clears up the process for you.? Does anyone know how long the Southwark systems have been down?
