  1. Called Steve, the spin doctor, on Monday morning - not about the washing machine this time but a fan oven that had conked out.

He arrived as agreed this morning, replaced the element which he had with him and was finished in 15 minutes - magic!

Job done by a very professional man and good value!

  2. Aston came to see us to try to repair failing hinges on an integrated fridge and a separate freezer - he spent a couple of hours trying to fix them and advised we needed new hinges - he made no charge for that visit!

Today he came and fitted the 4 sets of new hinges - job done very satisfactorily in an hour!

Nice man, tidy worker and all at fair prices.

    Can?t rate him high enough!

'Thank you for getting in touch in regards to the parking space of our GLI7 ZDO Zipcar.

Car Club Only bays (Zipcar Roundtrip vehicles live there)

    Pay & Display Only bays

Disabled bays ? Business Permit Only bays

    Suspended bays

Yellow lines, red routes, junction boxes, zig-zag lines, pedestrian crossings & all other nationally restricted areas

    Housing estates and private roads

Roads on the TFL Road Network

Parking bays in part time bus lanes

Selected streets or areas closed by the borough council.

  4. Has anyone experienced Zip cars leaving cars locally in their road as ours has limited parking - I thought they had to be left in allocated bays but for over a week we had a Zip car parked and left without moving then yesterday it was taken away and another one was left in its place. I had phoned and then emailed them and the change in vehicles seemed to happen after that. But no response so far to my second complaint.

Does anyone know what there policy is for parking on residential streets?

  6. So sad about these shops closing due to stupid hikes in rents, it is necessary that any area has thriving independent shops and services otherwise !!!!

I just hope that the quote from Parkhill's website that they have "completely changed the face of a high street in Lordship lane East Dulwich" doesn't blow up in their faces and LL becomes another suburban ghost town -

support the local shops and services!

  7. You are being negative again Sue - wait and see what they do when it's properly running and support local businesses - you and the other clique (curry club & sing alongers) are so negative!
  8. Let's keep the thread going - that fox person is hiding behind his/her forum name - others are just plain rude and my biggest bug bear is the negativity- let's wait and see what the Patch is like once it's all up and running!

I did hear that it may not be open on 11/11 but you can bet your bd that there will be a big fanfare and hopefully a fabulous place to visit often or for a special occasion according to your budget!

Support local ventures businesses and be nice to people - it pays you back to be kind folks!

  9. The beer is ?4.00 from the makers in Cornwall + transport + the Patch costs = seems to be fair price ?

Shall we get the Administrator to rename this the East Dulwich Negative Forum or start another one for you '-'s' ?

( certainly not hiding behind a pseudonym with an odd name either and never have!)

  10. It must be you negative people putting out bad vibes to the LL businesses - there is nothing better than shopping eating drinking and in the process having a laugh and chatting to, not only those serving but the shoppers themselves!

We love shopping in ED and agree if other don't - move away and take your negativity with you!

  11. It's looking good to me after the Mag slid off the planet we need a bit of a buzz there - the refurbishment work looks good as it's the whole building and not just a lick of paint.

They published the Kerry Moss (masterchef winner) menu and the food looks great - stop moaning and support local businesses and ventures - they have to sell it otherwise.......!
