Anywhere selling real christmas trees yet?
bonacara replied to Islarose's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Sharon's garden centre has a great selection already! -
Loads of factors to consider! Labradors are great family dogs, chilled with the kids BUT they do she'd an awful lot! Non shedding doodle mixes are lovely (cockapoos, Cavapoos, Labradoodles, etc) BUT they need loads of brushing&grooming to avoid having a dog that is constantly matted.you may want to consider going to Crufts or Discover Dogs to meet different breeds to help you decide. You could also join Borrow my doggy, to give it all a try? Another factor is Where to get the dog from. Make sure you don't buy a puppy from the Internet. Best place to look is the UK Kennel Club website. You csn search different breeds/breeders in specific areas. Only buy from a genuine breeder. Be careful, there are a lot of crooks out there! Don't rush. Wait for the right dog. Good luck with it all. It's a huge commitment but amazingly rewarding. ;)

Recommendation for a good Electrician

I do my mum's duck in my slow cooker. Take a whole duck, salt it a LOT, chuck it in for 4-5 hours on slow. The salt will cook out all the fat from the duck which ends up in the bottom, and the duck comes out crispy on the outside and moist , falling off the bone on the inside. A winner with our family every time. :)

Hi lovely fellow EDF members! I would like to introduce my Mobile Dog Grooming Salon - Waggy Wagon Owned and run by Sylvie Marks, a lifelong dog lover. Sylvie is a fully insured, qualified Level III City&Guilds Dog Groomer as well as a Pet First Aider. Waggy Wagon is a proud member of the British Isles Grooming Association (BIGA), providing trusted, quality and reliable service. Waggy Wagon offers professional mobile dog grooming services in the South-East London area, covering Brixton, Herne Hill, Dulwich, Peckham, Lewisham, Forest Hill, Beckenham, Crystal Palace and Norwood. The van is heated, fully insulated and converted into a mobile dog grooming salon, complete with a warm water hydro bath, heated towels, a finishing dryer and an electric grooming table. Having worked in salons previously, Sylvie can see the advantages of offering a mobile grooming service as opposed to the traditional salon setting, where dogs often have to wait both before and after their grooming session. With Waggy Wagon: ? the salon comes to you ? convenient ? saves you time ? more personal service ? only one dog at a time ? fitted around your busy schedule ? dog gets Sylvie's full attention ? less stressful for the dog, owner and groomer ? better for older / nervous dogs Make a booking I would love to hear from you! Whether you have a specific question about grooming, want to discuss the process or wish to book an appointment, please contact me by phone or email. Remember to quote EDF001 to receive 10% off your first groom! Mob: 07906 192 808 Email: [email protected] Facebook: www.facebook.com/waggywagonlondon Instagram: www.instagram.com/waggywagon

Not stricktly ED , I came across this little gem of a shop while exploring the shops along Nunhead green the other day. Papa Bear sells retro (mostly 50s) furniture and decor items. Also nice ceramics, wool blankets, etc mostly by local makers. There is also a cafe, a fishmonger, a flower shop, a butcher and a craft beer shop, all along the same stretch of the rd. Go along and explore it yourself!

Just been for dinner and thought I would share what a great meal we had! Tried a selection of starters and all were absolutely delicious. The salt and chilly fried squid is to die for! The service was great too, the waitress checked on us numerous times, making sure all was good and we were happy. Will be back again soon. What a great dining experience!

Hi hello sailor, our son when he was about 4.5, used to pull his hair at the back, creating quite a bald patch. A psychiatrist friend said it was stress and nervousness but I really believe it was just a bad habit he got into, like biting nails, or sucking thumbs. I always held his hand when I realised he was doing it and told him to stop. I would often also give him something to hold \ fumble with. I also took a photo of the back of his head to show him how it looked. After about 4 months he stopped and the hair grew back. Now I look back on it as just another phase that passed. Don't worry too much, I am sure your little one will grow out of it soon!
