  1. The same thing happened to me a couple of years ago over in West Dulwich. The description of a lady around 5"3 with short hair also sounds familiar. She was quite well spoken and used the electricity meter story. I was suspicious however she was convincing and weighing up the pros and cons decided I could afford to lose ?5 if she wasn't telling the truth.
  2. This happened at West Dulwich a few months back http://www.westdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?4,1420
  3. Reminds me of that South Park episode with the 'Goobacks' who come to the past and aren't welcome - hilarious. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goobacks
  4. I would jump forward to the time when time travel is discovered and stop the person who invented it thereby stopping everyone on this forum becoming time touristss disrupting the space time continuum. Otherwise the very fabric of space and time itself will be ripped usunder and this timeline as we know will vanish. In saying that, if I was successful, I might very well aide my own disapperance from this time line and any future one that I travel to.:'( On second thoughts, I'll just stay at home...
  5. I heard a rumour Primark was going to open up on the Iceland site. So after gorging at these new fast food joints and enjoying happy hour at the CPY, you could go along and watch a football match Camberwell Cannons, be sick all down your clothes, get the munchies so buy a hot dog for ?5 from the stand in the grounds. On your way home buy a new outfit, to replace the one you messed up, for ?2.75 from Primark and the missus would be none the wiser. It's a brave new world.
  6. How about converting the ED Warehouse into a food emporium with pizza hut, kfc, Papa John's Pizza and Quizno's subs. kwala-tee.
  7. Depending on your transport needs you should also look at West Dulwich. You'd be sure to get a 2 bed for that sort of money.
  8. Well, apart from discoverign Peniciliin, gravity and DNA: Going greener and trying valiantly to reduce my carbon footprint (in no small part due to saintly folk that walk these here forums - Sean ;-) )

  10. Something tells me Macroban is being 'tongue in cheek' about the drinking culture he expects to see flourishing along the lane.
  11. Annasfield Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I say "at the end of the day" and " no offence" > quite a bit...... Is that before or after you offend the person you're talking to?
  12. Gosh you guys are deep thinkers (drinkers). I'm not sure which way I go on this one either. Tatchell caused me to do a u turn in the road...
  13. Actually, mine is actually. Oh yeah and "erm..." It cracks me up when people say "right?" after each sentence. I took great pleasure in having a running counter on a friend of mine. It was was erm, actually quite funny.
