Further to this thread, I would also like to make a recommendation for Dia.He has done an absolutely beautiful job painting my bedroom, is very polite and friendly, and I would say has a very exceptional eye for detail! One other point that impressed me was the hours he put in to paint a large space in the shortest time...very hard working! His number is 07468 439891.

Maurice has just been and cleared my kitchen sink blockage as well as reconfigured the pipes. He's done an excellent job. I also think he's very friendly and polite and would definitely use his services again if I need to.

I'd like to recommend painter and decorator Barbara who has painted my whole house in Camberwell. She is a real perfectionist and the end result is brilliant! Barbara's quotation was very reasonable as well, and last but not least, I found her to be really friendly. Her number is 07710 217 110.

I'd like to recommend carpenter Stuart Winfied on 07938897282 who has worked on two projects at my home recently. One was to modify a builtin Victorian bedroom closet by expanding it outwards and install internal shelving, whilst keeping the existing integrity of the structure. The other time was to modify skirting. Stuart is a total perfectionist and has done an amazing job. He tells me he is installing a new kitchen of late and I am sure he is doing an excellent job. He is also very personable and not only completed the projects quickly but was competitively priced too.

I'd alsoe recommend Sean, who is on 07794673708. He came round to do some work on my kitchen, which entailed fixing my countertops flush with the kitchen cabinetry. Efficient, friendly and polite!

Terry has just finished removing and moving picture rails and dado rails, and plastered over the resultant gaps in my house. He has done an excellent job! I found him both efficient and friendly, and he has great time-keeping as well.

Whilst the plans on the Peckham Vision web site all look very interesting, I am so glad it's a thriving artists community now (from what I have read) within the Bussey Building. Are visitors allowed into the Building to view the artists' works or are they private studios? Or maybe this is on an individual basis perhaps?

Hi, not really in East Dulwich I know, but it seems a few of these threads are Peckham related so I'll try my luck...does anyone know about when the Bussey Building/Copeland Quarter is expected to be developed and the front of Peckham Rye Station for that matter? Is there a timeline or is it still 'pie in the sky'? Thanks
