Great, that's helpful - thanks

Has anyone braved IKEA since it reopened? Just wondering how bad the queues are...

My 10-year-old lost his skateboard near the Court Lane Gate of Dulwich Park on Saturday afternoon. It has purple and green wheels and has a fish underneath with stickers on. It might have been just inside the park or possibly near the corner of Eynella Road and Court Lane. If anyone has found it please let me know. He is distraught. Thank you!

Great, many thanks

I've not been down Camberwell Grove for about 18 months. Can you drive all the way down it now or is it still closed halfway down? Thanks!

In Dulwich Library area, not working most of the day for 6 days now. Terrible automated customer service telling me each day that the problem will be fixed later that day. Anyone else know what is going on or got a satisfactory response from Virgin?

That's great - thanks so much

I remember in the past Zippos handing out leaflets with discount codes when they were in the area. Just wondering if anyone has one for this year? Thanks!

I'm going to take it to the vet to see if it's microchipped if it carries on. Good luck with your search.

Actually I've just compared their markings and although very similar there are a couple of small differences that make me think it's not the same cat.

Can anyone suggest a good film for a boy's 9th birthday sleepover party? Something that is not going to freak the kids out so they can't sleep, but exciting enough that they will want to keep watching. Funny could be good. They've all seen all the Star Wars movies already and aren't interested in superheroes. Thanks!

Does anyone have any suggestions for a party venue that puts on a creative activity for (6-year-old) kids? We've already done the ceramics cafe and pizza making. Something arty/crafty would be perfect. Willing to travel up to a couple of miles out of ED if necessary. We can't have it at home. Thanks!

I'm not getting any reply by phone or email from Little Green Van & Man, lgvanman.com - does anyone know if they are still in business? Many thanks

I am going along to this tonight for the third time. Just thought I'd remind EDforum users that it is on as it only started last month and I am keen for it to continue. Would highly recommend for anyone who needs a little mid-week headspace and (like me) finds it hard to meditate without guidance. Thanks!

Just wanted to recommend this (mainly so it carries on and I can continue going!). Very glad I went last night. Is very 'guided' meditation which really helped me to focus and not drift off into my own thoughts. I've not been to any of Yajna's other classes yet, but I was impressed. Can still feel the effects today.

Help! Car dent/scratch repair recommendation please
newgirl posted a topic in Request a Tradesperson
The wind caught my car door today and slammed it into a matt-black painted car in Ikea today, leaving a very shallow dent and white scuff mark/scrape. The owner has just called me and neither of us know where/how to get it repaired. Any recommendations will be very gratefully received. He lives near Ikea Croydon. Of course, I've also discovered I have to go back to Ikea as half the toddler bed I bought is sold separately! Aaaarg. -
Peter at A&M Motors near Herne Hill Station is brilliant. Have used him for about 6 years and he is always trying to save us money. Totally honest and passionate about what he does. He used to work there with his Dad, who has recently retired. Now it's just him. Would highly recommend as someone who you can rely on.

Thanks everyone, will definitely follow up on all your suggestions. Rolo, I'm looking for somewhere for drinks and friends to DJ and probably some canap?s. Thanks again

I'm organising a 40th birthday party for my husband and wondering if there are any good local venues. EDT is ?1,500 minimum spend, Prince Regent (Herne Hill) is already booked for the whole of January. Does anyone know of anywhere that would hold around 50 people and isn't too expensive? Many thanks!

Is there somewhere floodlit within a 10 minute drive of ED to play tennis in the evenings? I'd rather not have to join a club permanently as I'm playing with my brother who is only local for the next 2 months (obviously happy to pay per session if necessary though). Many thanks for any suggestions
