Hi Jenny Mystery solved, a lady turned up today for the parcel, turns out she lives in my street and the package had the wrong house number on the label. The delivery people had given a "proof of delivery photo" to her which was a picture of it on our doorstep and she recognised the property! Just tried to get cash, it kept my card and apparently someone else's. Phoned bank, it's a scam, the card had already been used to attempt to withdraw cash somewhere else within half an hour.

Haven't travelled for a while but need to next week. TFL's website seems to have been updated and is not working properly for me, does anyone know if the trains are running as they used to, ie every half hour via Denmark Hill? Many thanks.

Hermes courier service is quite reasonable, have sometimes found it cheaper than the post office, even if they collect from your door.

When we were kids we made a kitchen out of cardboard boxes. Cut a hole in the base of one, turn upside down and fit a bucket in it! Give them lots of small containers and another bucket filled with water to use as a "tap". You can use trays or anything else to put on top of other boxes to make a "worktop' good luck and post a pic!

Don't flush kitchen roll, most of you will know this but have realised that a surprising amount of people are not aware that kitchen roll will block up your drains pretty quickly as it's designed to not break up!

Steve and Gary have recently completed our hallways and staircases and did a great job. Difficult high ceilings and fiddly paintwork! They are a pleasure to have around, pleasant, punctual and worked all the hours required to do the job on time. Also their charges are very reasonable. Would definitely use them again. Thanks guys.

Another recommendation for Barney Rubble. He and his helper came at short notice to remove a big old sofa, and then helped me to move other heavy stuff around before leaving. Very nice guys and a fair price.

I called Alan at No 1 Sparks yesterday evening when my iron blew the RCD protected circuit and it would not reset, which meant all the sockets in that room would not work. I was expecting an expensive urgent call out, however Alan is absolutely fantastic, he responded to my call immediately and better still explained what had caused the problem then talked me through the process of re-setting the fuse so I didn't need anyone to come out! What a lovely guy, will certainly be calling him again in the future when I need any electrical work doing. Thanks again Alan. Alan is on 07450 865510

Niko has fixed our thermostatic shower, the temperature valve was stuck which meant the shower couldn't be used. He is a very knowledgeable plumber and is a pleasure to have around. He responded to my first phone call immediately even though he was out of the country at the time, arrived when he said he would and called a few days after fixing the shower to make sure it was working properly. Highly recommended, thanks Niko!

Mehmet has been back recently to add more fencing to my garden , plus built a good sized raised bed from scratch and sorted out an old brick patio. Lots of free advice on planting etc as well! Great bloke, very patient and cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended, thanks Mehmet.

Very disappointed after seeing such good reviews. When I first called Lee he told me he isn't working in East Dulwich area any more but his brother is and passed on his details. I arranged a visit and waited in on the day, but no show and no response to my text. He was probably having a bad day but it's so annoying when people don't turn up or make contact.

Or Peckham Rye Station for the 3 days Saturday through Monday. Originally thought it was only going to be Sunday that Peckham was closed. Can't find any precise information on TFL website, except by using journey planner for those 3 days....
