Thanks for all the advice ladies, I got some Gaviscon yesterday and it's really sorted me out. Took one of the tablets last night and haven't had any heartburn (touch wood) since taking it - brilliant! I'm now clutching the box like my best friend.

Thanks both - I'll stock up at lunch time! Fingers crossed it will do the trick.

I'm 31 weeks pregnant and getting terrible heartburn. Since Saturday I've also had a sore throat, cough and earache on top of the heartburn, and the combination of all four is making me quite miserable! It sounds odd, but I'm getting loads of excess saliva in my mouth (I think as a by-product of the heartburn) and this is making me feel hungry all the time (you know the feeling in your tummy when you've been chewing gum...as if your stomach is preparing for food?). Anyway, just wondered if anyone has suffered the same kind of thing, and if you have any tips on how to deal with it.

Good idea Kerry! Go for it! x -
Hi all My first baby is due at the end of November and I'm planning on breastfeeding, but would like to express milk so that my other half can also do some of the feeding. I want a bottle that works well with combined feeding, and have read lots of good things about the Yoomi self-warming bottle and the Tommee Tippee closer to nature range. Does anyone have any experience of these, and if so, what are your thoughts? Thanks Hollie x

Hi Kerry, and other first time Oct/Nov mummies! A local coffee would be lovely, but I can't do the 4th - can you do the 11th or 12th? Luca's sounds good though. Hollie x -
Hi there I'm quite new to this forum and posted in the classifieds section when I should've posted in this forum really. We're moving to East Dulwich this weekend and I'm expecting my first baby at the end of November. Would love to meet some first time mums who are due around the same time. Also, I'm looking for a good pregnancy yoga class. I've been attending one in Clapham since 14 weeks but want to find one closer to our new home - any recommendations? I'm also looking into HypnoBirthing courses and would be keen to hear anyone's recommendations. I've found a practitioner that will come to your home for ?318 (per couple) if you find another couple who would come along too. Is anyone due around the same time and would be interested in this? That's all for now! Hollie x

This is the class I go to at the moment, at Clapham North Arts Centre. Are you saying they run one on Barry Road??? -

Brilliant! This forum seems great - I was a bit worried that it might be hard to meet mums when I move, but it looks like it won't. We have our scan the week after next, we're not going to find out the sex either - I agree it's nice to have the surprise x -

Hi Jilly We are moving to Barry Road - whereabouts are you? This is my first baby too - do you know what you're having? Thanks for the recommendation of the GP surgery, I'll make a note of it. Hollie -

Two more things... Can anyone recommend a GP surgery with a good midwifery team that I can register with when we move? And is anyone else due around the end of November? I'm due on 25th and would love to meet any expectant mums in the area. Thanks again! x -
Hi all I'm 20 weeks pregnant and my partner and I are hopefully moving to East Dulwich at the beginning of August. At the moment we live in Balham and I've been attending an antenatal yoga class in Clapham, but would like to find one that's good in East Dulwich ideally. Does anyone know of any - or any other antenatal exercise groups for that matter? Thanks lots! Hollie & bump xx
