So do they drive their cars the wrong way down one way streets.. ? ...Do they drive their cars on the pavement. ? ...Do they drive their cars through red lights. ? No. Well why then do they do those things when on their bicycles . ? Because they can get away with it and don't care a toss. DulwichFox

I never use Moxons.. Rude and unhelpful .. on the 2 occasions I have been in. and came out without getting what I wanted. DulwichFox
  3. People who really like fish go to Sopers.. Those who claim to like fish go to Moxham's cos its more expensive and in East Dulwich. DulwichFox
  4. It just seems a bit strange when so many people harp on about their readiness to pay ?80.00+ for a meal in certain local restaurants which serve fine dining, fine wines and cocktails... and in the next breath going on about a new outlet specializing in sugar & salt laden ready meals... Ironic.... but does expose the level of their knowledge of food.. DulwichFox

  6. Tests have found that three-quarters of British-grown oysters contain norovirus, BBC News has reported. Norovirus, also known as ?winter vomiting bug?, is thought to affect up to 1 million people each year in the UK. http://www.nhs.uk/news/2011/11November/Pages/winter-vomiting-bug-found-in-most-oysters.aspx Remember:- Heston Blumenthal shuts Dinner restaurant after norovirus outbreak.. You takes your choice. I've never been poisoned by a curry or a doner... DulwichFox
  7. M&S do not seem that concerned about completing this project. Progress is slow. Just another property acquisition ? DulwichFox
  8. Well Lou.. There are those who when defeated in any argument will resort to picking someone up on a grammatical error or spelling mistake.. If it makes those people feel better about themselves then so be it. The next door neighbours, they are a joke. They cultivate a garden which they smoke, and send kids to local schools. They must be growing up a bunch of fools.. DulwichFox

My mum, myself and a neighbour were talking in the garden.. DulwichFox

  13. They say oysters are an aphrodisiac ? they being scientists in 2005. Well there are a lot of aphrodisiacs on the market and they all cost a small fortune ... Funny what some people believe.. (That would make a good new Thread.. ) DulwichFox
  14. I think that if this vehicle was in anyway parked illegally there would of been 1/2 dozen Parking Wardens waiting to slap a ticket on it the second any time limit had expired. Periscope cars. The lot. Foxy
  15. Jeremy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > must... not.. bite... > > but... what a load of rubbish, fox... How is it rubbish..? it is fact.. not disputable.. nothing to argue about.. Were you around in the 50's. Have you bought lamb shank recently .. ? Ridiculous price.. DulwichFox
  16. When I was a kid in the 50's, when people went to the butchers and asked for bones for their dog, They were given a bag of lamb shanks FREE. Even though the war was just over and rationing had just ended people would not eat lamb shanks.. Now they are a luxury and cost a relative fortune.. especially in restaurants. Oysters are the same.. Cockles and Mussels likewise. DulwichFox

  21. Oysters used to be food for the poor.... They were Cheap.. You could hardly give them away.. The 'Better Off' would not touch them with a barge pole.. Now Coffin Bay King Oysters (Australia) cost $100 each.. They are now the food of the rich.. Some people will eat anything as long as it is expensive enough to make them feel exclusive. DulwichFox.
