  1. Great result but some very nervy last minutes! Hope Fabregas and Walcott are not too badly damaged.
  2. Slick
  3. My brother in law has just returned from working in Libya - got out just in time by the looks of it. The Libyan people told him that Gaddafi has a "Zombie" army made up of young boys taken from orphanages in North Africa who will lay their lives on the line to protect his empire.
  4. yield
  5. Great atmosphere tonight at the Library - I have nearly lost my voice with all that singing and shouting! Have to say Barcelona are still great - still don't know how we won!
  6. Me too - love it. Not watched last night's episode yet - glad it was good - a treat for tonight.
  7. steam
  8. You can put me on the payroll if you like! 9. Sorry to bother you Barry, but the light is out at the bottom of Platform 2. Is there anyone else we can email about ED station to save you the trouble?
  10. WTF! Can't wait to see this on Football FIrst tonight - the second penalty sounds very dodgy?
  11. Looks like we might have the 3 points sewn up already! 4 nil to the Arsenal in the first 25 mins. Maybe ?35m for Carroll was not such a good sale.
  12. Arsenal Please

  14. Barry - many thanks for the new shelter on Platform 1 - very welcome today! I have a question about the closing off of platforms 13-16 at night. You have to go up and down the bridge to reach these platforms late at night. The railway staff yesterday told me it's because of the cranes working at the Shard and 'elf and safety. Do they really use these cranes at night or was he just fobbing me off?
  15. and Arsene didn't spend a penny, as usual! Let's hope we can get through Feb without any more injuries or suspensions...

How do you do that Narnia - have searched but can't find the "hide" button?
  18. Wonderful news - would you like me to get her an Arsenal babygrow when I am next at the Emirates?!
  19. Sainsburys now open but road still closed and no cars allowed out of Abbotswood Road

  21. Everton v Chelsea on at 12.30 so best check who is showin what game.
  22. This is the reply I got from A Dennis when I queried if they would reapply: "I am waiting on an agreement about what to do with this. I would like to deem it withdrawn but until we do the applicant could still rectify his problem and reactivate the application, so I will chase this up but probably need to raise the issue with applicant first. Sorry I can't be any clearer at this time. A Dennis"
  23. I have just received this from Southwark Council. It confused me rather but I think the gist of it is that the application for planning permission has been withdrawn as it is invalid? "Thank you for your message about this application, and your objection. As case office I would not normally respond to consultation replies but in this acse there has been delays due to the application being initially invalid, then it was validated and consultations started, and now the application is again invalid. This means that we are no longer dealing with any application and should the applicants wish to resubmit their scheme, we would once again carry out consultations in the surrounding area. As this application had recently been re-allocated to me I had little time to consider the application and the appropriateness of the area chosen for consultations. However, having received your e-mail I will take the points you made into account (should a new application be submitted) and ensure the roads you mention are consulted. Adrian Dennis Team leader Major Applications (NB I am best contacted by e-mail as I work mainly out of the office. My tel No. when in is: 7525 5445)"
  24. I can touch my nose with my tongue too - do I get a prize?!
  25. Went to see Black Swan last night - found it very disappointing. Actually laughed out loud at some of the scenes, along with a few others in the cinema. Lots of Lesbian action for you guys that enjoy watching that sort of thing - bit gratuitous for me though!
