  1. I think Lindy should rejoin the Sugar Babes and resume her singing career
  2. Best meal ever at Le Voile d'Or in St Jean Cap Ferrat. Make sure you take your gold credit card with you!
  3. I wanted Lucinda to win too - so glad Sir Alan didn't give her the chop. She certainly took on the role of manager very well
  4. Thanks Lewis - looking forward to the construction of the mini roundabout!
  5. Keef - I feel your pain! Football is a very cruel game - good luck for next wednesday.
  6. Just got my letter from Melbourne Clinic advising new procedure. Did you know that all patients at Melbourne Grpve are eligible for a month's free membership with Fusion Centres in Southwark? They say that you can provide feedback on their services anytime by visiting www.mgmp.co.uk. Just an extra thought I had, not sure I would want a clinician calling me back whilst I am at work to discuss my symptoms where everyone else in my open plan office can listen in.

Well thats good I suppose but I think it would have been nicer to speak to someone face to face to allay your worries.

  12. When I was in Peru I found the best advice was to eat bananas (potassium helps apparently) and chew coca leaves and or drink coca tea. There is no hard and fast rule as to who will suffer with altitude sickness - it can affect anyone.
  13. You are supposed to wait til you are near the traffic lights where the line is broken to move over but this can be difficult if there is already a queue in the bus lane. As far as I know there are no cameras there (at least I hope not!) so as long as you aren't blocking any buses there shouldn't be a problem driving in the bus lane. Spare a thought also for the people that live on the estate left of Sainburys who not only have to contend with the bus lane but the traffic going into Sainsburys, the car wash and the staff car park at the top of Abbotswood Road!
  14. I prefer watching men play with larger balls!
  15. Full list of runners/timings in the Evening Standard supplement today.
