Any recycling bins around for batteries and printer cartridges? Always forget to take them to the tip and as the items are small it'd be handy to have a bin somewhere on LL.

Rather bored of the White Stuff rantings, if you don't like / agree with the place then don't go there.
I'd much rather hear about Macroban's lost / bygone ED - the record shop and now an ice cream factory - please tell us more.

If a band can't afford or don't have the know how to make their own web page then MySpace works perfectly - it also stops the proliferation of demo CDs and saves on postage.
Anyway, keeping on topic, how about some music?

Loosely connected to a F&C theme - went to the Forest Hill Sainsburys and noticed that they sell prepackaged Spam Fritters, very rarely sighted in a F&C shop these days. -

It's a the opposite side of LL near Pellatt Road, near the other launderette

Just walked past the black painted building near the launderette and the door was open - seemed to have a large glass panel etched with the Classic Lofts name and logo.

Been away for 6 weeks and just noticed a sign on LL opposite the end of Northcross Road. It seems to be a Southwark sign with men and women silhouettes and the text 500m, it's pointing towards the Green. Any ideas?
Also noticed that Target Arms and Cafe Noodle have been given a new lick of paint.
Any idea what the black shop next to the launderette near Magdala is going to be? Looks shopish but could also be an office.

Hey Mockney, I'll see your Feel the Pain and raise you
What was that Electrelane album like?

Sean - thought that was the case but any chance to have a dig at old wayne hussey......
It's not connected at all but I once saw the Mighty Lemon Drops play an early show in Croydon somewhere and had the misfortune of catching the support act - Fields of the Nephilim. It was all flour and top hats!

Sean - without wishing to get all snobby about music - that NME compilation that you have sounds like hell on earth. The only up side to it is that The Mission are covering a classic track and not subjecting you to one of their own dreadful offerings.
I apologise in advance if you are a fan of the Mission

1.35pm. Weather - warm. Down LL across NCR and up CPR.
14 - 4 wheel buggies [5 parked outside Blue Mountain]
1 - 3 wheeled buggy
4 drivers on mobile phones
The launderette now has a new windowledge and Somerfield has lost some tiles.
Anyone know what the green shop next to the Hairdressing suppliers on CPR used to be? Seem a similar vintage to the one next to the butchers

Agreed - Fopp/Rough Trade/ Secondhand type of thing would do me.
Any idea what the shop is now. The EDD used to be a caff didn't it?

At this moment in time I'd like a Natwest, I know that Camberwell isn't that far but the service is appalling
