Brewers are excellent at colour matching & the guys there are really helpful too. We've only used F&B modern emulsion in our bathroom & not had any issues. In my son's bedroom we did a colour match.

Could anyone recommend a yoga class for my 4 year old? He has trouble with his gross motor skills & im hoping it might help. Thanks

I see the wonderful Louisa at the Goose Green Clinic. While I was pregnant she fixed my pelvic girdle pain so that I could walk comfortably again. Prior to seeing her I was in a lot of pain walking for longer than 15 minutes & standing for any period of time. I saw her again for my pregnancy heart burn, she magically 'made space', and it was gone! I also saw Louisa for a couple of postnatal appointments following the birth of my daughter. Being a mum of two (my son was a toddler) there was little time to recuperate afterwards, Louisa provided the much needed restorative support vital in those first few weeks so that I could muddle through the initial madness & beyond! I continue to see Louisa whenever the need arises. She is really gentle but has great results & is very easy to speak to. I feel very fortunate to have found somebody that I trust implicitly so it goes without saying that I highly recommend her!

I have had this problem a couple of times & found that the tyre had deteriorated & split a little & was squelching! I ordered a new wheel & replaced it myself, v straight forward x I've always ordered spare parts from Petts Wood, does anyone order from anywhere else (preferably with free postage!)?

We have recently toilet trained my son, he had a complete aversion to the potty (I'm guessing because he's only ever seen us using a toilet & doesn't have older siblings) so we skipped straight to the loo. We have two toilet seats, a soft one with handles either side & a plastic IKEA one. He started off preferring the soft one because we were spending quite a bit of time reading stories on there while he practiced, these days he poos like a pro & is on the IKEA one! Initially he had a lot of apprehension about the 'plop' so we started off with him doing it on the toilet but with a nappy cupped under him to catch it, after a week or so he got used to it & stopped asking for the nappy. We also invested in a Pottette travel potty & seat which I've found to be invaluable, he has a knack of needing to go when we're at the furthest point from any loo! We used a sticker reward chart, which went down very well & we stayed at home for the first 3 days to take the stress out of it for both of us. Good luck, it's a right of passage for both of you but really not as bad as you might imagine!

We are making the intrepid journey to N/M Wales via Telford tomorrow morning. I'm pregnant & am driving there with my toddler. When we've travelled there before (from West London & without toddler) we've always taken the M4, but I'm unsure as to which route to take from Dulwich. Each 'route planner' that I have researched is recommending a different route (M4/M1/M40???), plus it would be great to get some feedback on child friendly stops along the way (without making it too much longer...) Does anyone have any experience of this schlep?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for your advice & comments. It's good to have a better idea of what's on offer for the visitors that they encourage, there isn't a great deal of information on the website. Jamster, we're not in the position to adopt a cat or dog at the moment, however, I still like to find ways to responsibly encourage my son's enthusiasm & love of them. Why do you assume that our visit would have such a negative impact? I would trust that the people who work there know how to manage the visitors so that the animals are not stressed any further than they already have been. We went to Battersea Zoo last year and we were trying to think of something different that isn't Christmas related or weather dependant. I'm not sure that this is it!

Our son turns 2 this month & loves cats & dogs, so we were thinking a visit to Battersea Cats & Dogs Home might be nice... Has anyone been? I was wondering if the visitors have any interaction with the animals or if you just go and look at them in their cages / kennels , & possibly see them excersising? (We won't be bringing any new friends home with us, no matter how cute!)

I think this waiting list fee is such a scam. We put our names down for a popular local nursery a couple of years ago & have never heard back from them. As it turned out I didn't return to work & we didn't need the place, but they weren't to know that.
