Surprised to see the negative reviews of Niko - I've always found him to be friendly, honest and very reasonable with his prices. If I've had an urgent problem I've always found him to be very speedy to come back to me, too.

Just to add another recommendation for K&O pest control. Hopefully I will not need to use their services again, but if my pesky mice make a return visit, I will definitely call Colin at K&O. He was thorough, and went well beyond the call of duty by clearing out a cupboard that I was too freaked out to go through. Reasonably priced too.

Another recommendation for Niko. He did a couple of very small jobs for me despite being run off his feet, and was reasonably priced as always. Lovely guy too! :) Katherine

I'm afraid I have to say that I had a similar experience to Londonmix. Vince and I agreed a date for him to carry out some work in my bathroom, but he neither showed up nor contacted me to let me know what was happening. He then sent a text the following evening apologising and saying that he was having personal difficulties. I was understanding about this and we arranged a different date for the work to be done...only for exactly the same thing to happen again, with no explanation whatsoever this time, just a brief apology (again, the day after the work was supposed to have been done). Bit cheesed off, in all honesty.

Just had Niko over to fix a leaking pipe in my kitchen, although he also sorted my washing machine out whilst he was here. He called me back less than half an hour after I texted him, and was very flexible about when he could come to do the work. A thoroughly friendly, likeable guy and an extremely reasonable bill as well. I'd have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him and I'll definitely use him again. :)

I've just come back from visiting Kuki for the first time. I had a cut and blow dry with Gemma, and I'm very happy to say that both the salon and the staff lived up my expectations after reading all these glowing reviews! It's very chilled and friendly, and I got a great cut and blow dry for ?40. Much cheaper than where I used to go (GM's), much nicer atmosphere and just a more pleasant experience all round. I wish Kuki well. :)

Am gutted. The new place sounds woefully bland and not a patch on 72s. RAH.
