Just a quick note to highly recommend the lovely Jack from JH Plastering who did a fantastic job in our new flat and went out of his way to be helpful. Not surprisingly he's busy but definitely worth contacting for damp/rendering/plastering etc. www.plastering-damp.co.uk 07877805665

Just wanted to write a huge recommendation for Josh and Euan who came to help us move furniture to a storage unit yesterday. They worked so hard and were really lovely. (They normally work as stage hands in theatres and so obviously are available at the moment.)I'm sure they would be up for most jobs! Josh: 07849982584 Euan: 07975529708

Schools with sensitive SEN department?
JaneTutor replied to Skin_deep's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hi Every school should have a 'sensitive' SEN department but it so often comes down to the individual SENDCo or Inclusion team. DCD can be successfully accommodated in schools. Talk to the SENDCos in your preferred schools and share your concerns. Your son's diagnostic report should also include recommendations you can share with the Inclusion teams. Good luck. Jane -
Thank you to the Squeegee Brothers for stepping in to do a great job at short notice on very dirty windows and charging a reasonable rate. Highly recommend. https://www.sbtraditionalwindowcleaning.com/ Jane

Hi all The inner glass of our oven door exploded! Finding it hard to replace it. Tried various spares suppliers etc but noone has one! It is a Bigblue Rangecooker Select 70df (480mm x 450mm.) Does anyone know where I could look for one or if it is possible to replace with just a measured piece of reinforced glass??? Stir fries till then! Thanks Jane

Thank you so much. I've sent you a PM.

A friend who works for the NHS asked if I could make scrubs but sadly I don't have a sewing machine. (It's part of the initiative For the Love of Scrubs.) I said I'd mention it on the Forum in case anyone can help make scrubs, she said basically out of sheets and there are videos online that suggest how to do it. If you want more information or to make some please message me and I'll put you in touch with her re: questions/collection etc. Thanks everyone. Stay safe. Jane

Following my over-subscribed Easter touch typing classes, I will now also be running some classes during the May holiday if anyone is interested. Sessions are for 8-18 year olds - particularly useful for young people with dyslexia, dyspraxia or other Specific Learning Difficulties or for those with poor motor skills and writing difficulties. Or just those who prefer to type! Please contact me by private message for more details. Many thanks Jane Dip Level 7 Spld, AMBDA, APC (British Dyslexia Association)
