  1. Ah I see. Well You know what they say.. All Man U fans don't come from Manchester. I might just get Sky as sometimes I cannot be arsed getting up early on a Sat/Sun day off to walk down to the pub. I would rather Lounge around my front room...
  2. Uh oh - Im a City fan! Are the Manchester massive not exactly welcome?! Maybe i'll just wear blue or something...
  3. I chose to end the conversation as it was on the journey to know-where constructive. Monolithic to me, means a huge single momument built out of stone/rock. Which to me isn't very East Dulwich?? Maybe you live in a different area to me. If I offended you with that last post due to its patronizing nature I apologise. However, as you haven'y been the most 'welcoming' type to grace this forum I suppose I shouldn't be apologising that much. I think you indirectly called me a tosser on your first post... Anyway shall we sweep this under the rug and forget about it? As I am not on here to waste my time arguing about trivial matters.
  4. Ok so, any Pubs show the football around the area? Im not a football loving hooligan but I do like to catch the matches on a Sat/Sun afternoon. I've heard that 'the castle' does it? Any help cheers
  5. I think we should end this conversation. You seem a rather angry individual
  6. I think you need to find the meaning of the word Monolithic Eater...
  7. The worst area of them all is ponders end/Edmonton green. It's just beyond any horrible descriptive adjective.
  8. Ok easter8. You seem like you dislike the area, I've lived in Edmonton green, ponders end, tottenham and kilburn. If you think that ED is a shithole then you must live in hampton esque luxury estate. It's not in any way a shithole.
  9. I have read slot abou the crime, but heck it can't be worse than most areas of London? I've actually moved onto goodrich, that's where I read about the crime happening!! Anyway, me and my partner are v happy with the area and il glad that there's a good community spirit. Why I moved here? It's afordable and the area seemed really nice. 1 bedroom places go for a very reasonable price and there not holes!! Hope that the crime doesN t affect it too much. Ifs violence that's most worrying. Petty theft I can deal with :)
  10. When an ad, or say, a company say "20MEG BROADBAND SPEED" they say in the little print "up to...." Meaning they aren't breaking the law by giving you a really Shoddy speed. This is doubled by problems when you have a router and splitting your own bandwith with house/flat mates. 20mgs = Really 5megs Diveded by 3 peeps... Stuff starts getting slow. All the Internet companies do it and Watchdog are on their case. They'll just find a different way though. Dont get me started on what "Unlimited" means to Mobile phone companies either... geeez!
  11. Me and my girlfriend have just moved to East Dulwich, literally about a day ago. I've got to say, the place is beautiful. Lordship Lane in automatically one of the nicest roads in South London to be around, Esp at night. We were thinking of moving to Clapham earlier in the year and thank god we didn't. Its nothing compared to the area, Small Boutiques, independent business' sexy little gastro's and bars. All within small distances of each other. Oh, and the view on Overhill road, wow. Cant understand why the place is so much more affordable than say, Muswell Hill, Crouch end etc because its style and Chic are pretty much beyond them both. Am I deluded? Or Have we moved into a little gem of an area?
