I would like to echo the above, we have used doug twice now and both times the results have been excellent. He has fitted wardrobes, shelves, alcove units and a kitchen for us. It could be coming through from the brick work if the pointing work is old and needs redoing - we had the front of ours repointed and this sorted the damp - a good firm to get in we have found is called Tapco - they charge for an initial inspection but knock this off the final bill if you use them

We have just had our front room and hallway sanded and varnished by Steve at back to wood - the whole experience was superb - very clean and efficient and turned our very battered dirty wooden floors into just what we wanted, they kept in touch and also looked after and fed our cats. Very good service

He is a top man - fixed a few things for us and cant fault him at all
