  1. Dog taken to, and with, the Neighbourhood Vet - they think it's 'Ollo' who was lost earlier today. (Thanks First Mate)
  2. Please see the attached photos. No collar on dog. Lovely little dog found shivering where Playfield Crescent meets Lytcott Grove. Fur matted, half frozen, looks like it had been out all night. I **think** I've seen the dog walking with an elderly owner on Playfield Crescent before hence why I'm posting on here rather than just contacting Southwark (on 0800 952 4444) to ask that the dog be collected. Would rather give back to owner directly if possible. Happy to hold on to the dog this evening but unfortunately it will need to go to Southwark tomorrow. (Will call the council now to let them know I have the dog and that I'm posting here to see if there is any response before they collect) If you think you recognise the dog or know the owner please DM me so that we can reunite. Any advice gratefully received! Cheers.
  3. We back on to the School. Was a wedding from what I could tell. Not an issue to us, but each to their own.
  4. Whilst I'm all for having a bash at private schools when the opportunity presents itself - Keane may I respectfully say that Heber is not the only primary school in the area that would benefit from access to the fields at Alleyn's, or for that matter any of the JAGS or Dulwich College facilities. And of course there may be other local school use, community groups, charitable activities that use the Alleyn's facilities that you are unaware of because it doesn't directly concern you or your interests. If this is a matter of access to fields has anyone asked about using the St Olaves and St Saviours ground which is next to Greendale/JAGS which, as I see it, is largely under unused and gated off? *puts on tin hat, crawls back under rock*
  5. I would endorse the comments made by fl0wer with regard to noise and groups hanging around especially in warm weather, but the area has changed for the better over the last two to three years.
  6. Billy Blake Jeu de l'oie (in English, Game of the Goose)
  7. Not quite sure why my last post was deleted? I'll try to put my point across a little more eloquently. Hagrid, given this subject has been discussed on many occasions over the years, have you tried talking to the School about your concerns rather than just moaning on here? (Hence the 'yawn' in my previous post.) For example on Sunday my neighbour's daughter took part in a fundraiser for the Charlotte Leatherbarrow Foundation (the poor girl knocked over by a bus in Herne Hill) this took place in the Alleyn's theatre - as far as I am aware this 'resource' was given to the Charity by the School, without them doing so the event wouldn't have gone ahead...
