Hi We have lived on Northcross Road for 15 years, just a few doors down from the Actress. I can't say that the pub tipping out at midnight is a particular problem - sure, there is a bit more footfall and the occasional noisy nutter but that is the exception rather than the rule in our experience. Razors has their own point of view about the market - but not everyone feels that way. Of course, we live at the other end of the road from the market so are not disturbed by the setting up of stalls. The road is closed on Saturday, just once a week, and this allows the market and shoppers a safe shopping session. If the things on sale there are not your scene, you don't have to shop there. Easy really. So, that hopefully offers a balanced view to the points raised by Razors. The downsides of living on such a great road - parking. If you don't have a car then you will have no problems. If you do have a car you will have problems parking near your house. Otherwise, it is a good place to live. The neighbours are friendly and it has a nice feeling, I would say - give it a go, you might like it :)) Good luck HElen
