  1. A recoprd shop in East Dulwich!!!!! When is it open , what sort of stuff does it sell, is it good old fashioned vinyl.
  2. Come on Turkey, not sure we'll succeed against the Germans but I didn't expect us to go this far. What an ending last night!!!! Fighting between idiots masquerading as fans in the fanzone spoilt it, why do people regress to tribal behaviour at times like this???? I know I'm passionate but I've never felt the urge to kick the living shit out of an opposing fan after a game. My poor old ticker is taking a hiding and the season is another 2 months off!!!!

The futures bright the futures Holland. ;-)
  4. I have a nasty feeling both Spain and Holland will run true to form and collapse miserably in the coming stages allowing the mediocre Germans to go on and win the bloody thing!!! :(

Our eyes may have met across the room but only if you were a teenager in the 70's, as I was.

  9. Wouldn't you just know it, Germany win via a free kick, scored by my favourite German player Mr.Gonad, aka Bollock. They were so average last night it was painful. I really hope they don't progress any further because the quality and standard of their play is woeful.
  10. West Brom @ home first game, get in!!!
  11. Check out Turkey, we are bouncing!! (Pun intended);-)

  13. Provisional Fixtures for season 2008/09 to be publised 10am Monday 16th June, I wonder if we'll get Everton or Boro in early part of the season as we always seem to.
  14. The club on the high street in Peckham must have bee either the Bouncing Ball or Mr. Bees, which started life as a reggae/west indian club. I can think on any other club ever existing on the high street.

  16. Ted Max said "Ronaldo's a skilled professional who can choose to work where he wants." Skilled profesional, yes, acting in a professional manner that does him credit, or within the constraints of the contract he has with his current club, NO WAY. Of course he has the right as an individual to choose where he wants to play, what he shouldn't do is to tell anybody who is prepared to listen, that he would be honoured to play for a rival club. I can't imagine too many captains of industry conducting themselves in such a manner while under contract to a single company. What we mustn't lose sight of is the fact that he IS contracted to Man U at present, regardless of his preferences he has a contractual obligation to Man U, or has he conveniently forgotten about that. I think he will go, and to be honest Man U fans should say good riddance, you don't want him turning into an Anelka, or even worse, god forbid, a Casley Hole.
  17. Annasfield Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Not sure if anyone else saw Wright's comments > about Ronaldo's behaviour. I do think he has a > point. Wrighty is a legend and his comments are spot on. Ronaldo should hang his head in shame. Having said that he is not the first, and will certainly not be the last player that has behaved despicably having forgotten how the club he is trying to leave has stood by him for many years. Loyalty doesn't exist in football, so we really shouldn't be surprised when players act this way, no matter who they play for.
  18. The Italians seem to have this idea that they have a god given right to do well, AC Milan were supposed to shit all over us in the Champs league and we did it to them, in their own back yard as we did some season earlier to Inter, the same was supposed to happen when they played the Dutch and again they got their backsides kicked. I really don't rate the Italians who are an aging squad, the midfield seems to be totally dependant on AC and their arrogance is less than palatable. Well played Austria last night, who should have been 3 nil up by half time but spurned all the chances and almost paid the ultimate price of being knocked out, hard to see them triumphing over the Germans but you never know.
  19. I don't get - Why people actually believe "Britains got talent" a misnomer if ever there was one judging by the buffoons and retards that regularly appear on this show.
  20. Equally strange that a Pole scored the goals against Poland.
  21. Come on TURKEY. I still don't think we'll go far in this tournament, but hey, make hay while the sun shines, or in this case pisses down with rain!!! Edited due to rubbish spelling!!!!
  22. Fabregas' through ball for Villa's third was sublime, mind you he does that sort of thing for us week in week out. I keep forgetting how young he is because it seems like he's been with us forever.
  23. Spanish performance last night reminded of, yes you guessed it, Arsenal at their freeflowing best. Aside from my prefence for Turkey to do well, because of my parentage, I wish the Spaniards well, and hope that the Italians continue to play as dismally as they did against the Dutch who played them off the park. Why a nation continue to rely on a side choc a bloc with over the hill players, in the same way that AC Milan do, is beyond me.
  24. The Joey Barton thing has got me puzzled, can Newcastle legally ask the thug that is Joey Barton, to accept a cut in wages or face the sack? Answers on a postcard please..........
