I still maintain my advice to get her neighbor to give her ?3,000 (Rather than give it to some tw?t with a camera and nothing more to offer than is already offered in law) was perfectly sound advice and ?3,000 would have perhaps given her the chance to go and sit in the sun or on a cruise for a month and avoid the worst of the building works. Others are happy to enforce her misery with idiotic advice, disingenuous sympathy pointing her towards difficulty rather a realistic solution. bob you have the first bit correct not the last on logic that's a complete fail Comparing aircraft noise to Building works can only be comparable to living next door to Diyers refurbishing their home over a lifetime creating dust mess & noise every day 7 days a week from 5.30 am until midnight for the rest of their and their children's lives except on days where the wind blows in a different direction. Using your logic I guess the OP should plough a load of time and effort into resolving the issues they have with their neighbours plans and building work throw themselves 100% into legal technical and environmental efforts to stop them carrying out their building works, with the logical conclusion that will make them better and resolve their problem and difficulties?
