  1. Zoltan of https://techgeniuz.co.uk/ recently provided us with an excellent service at a fair price. On his first visit he patiently and clearly answered all my questions and gave me a verbal quote which was all I needed before asking him to carry out the following work on our family's tech: Replacing the badly cracked Display/Top Section of a 5 year old MacBook Air at an acceptable price below that of the Apple Store. Replacing the water damaged keyboard on an 8 year old Dell Laptop and upgrading it; speeding it up considerably. Uploading onto my iCloud via the repaired MacBook Air, all the photos, film clips and required documents from our very old, no longer used, Dell Desk Top soft drive. Removing the soft drive from the Desk Top so I could keep it 'just in case' and dispose of the desk top safely. Removing the soft drives from two ancient laptops so I could destroy them before disposing of them safely. Advising us on adhoc iPhone and Laptop issues. I would definitely contact him again the next time one of our laptops needs repairing. Thank you Zoltan.

  7. In March Oli and his team did an excellent job of the following work at a property I manage: 1. Completely removed the existing broken front path. Covered and secured the void (coal shute) beneath using concrete lintels, waterproof membrane and concrete. Laid a compacted sub-base and new clay pavers. 2. Removed broken fence. Securely installed 6 fence posts and 5 fence panels across the end of the back garden. Base of posts wrapped in plastic sheath and set in post mix. 3. Removed broken render from terrace steps and cleaned then re-rendered steps where needed and repaired other parts. 4. Jet washed rear terrace.. I would like to thoroughly recommend him to you for a job done very well at a fair price. I think Oli sometimes still works alongside his father, Nigel Hawkins (Gardenman on this forum). 9. Lucas fitted us in just before Christmas and put up a book shelf that had been overloaded and had ripped out the plaster & it’s fixings. He also hung some 8 pictures. I was very pleased with how he answered all my questions and took care over his work.
  10. Please can someone find out who the security company is responsible for attending to the Heber School Alarm and post their name and number here ?. It was on for much of the night from 3 or 4am until 8am. They should take responsibility for deactivating it.

  14. Andyman, Andy Jacob, aka Spoiltdog Andy, spent a morning last week removing the worn and messy old sealant from around a bath & taps, and a mounted basin and from behind a kitchen sink. He replaced it with fresh, neat and tidy sealant that could not have looked any better. He took precautions to ensure that the seal would be as tightly water proof as possible and advised on its upkeep. I did not have to clear up after him at all. He was a pleasure to employ and his price was competitive. See you again Andy !

  16. AoDomestic Repair Services quickly responded to my call, booked a timely appointment and soon replaced the fan in the freezer section of my 20 year old Fisher Paykel fridgefreezer. The engineer took care, gave the work his full attention, checked it thoroughly afterwards, imparted some maintenance advice and charged me a fair price. Thank you Ao for keeping my fridgefreezer going. 0208 8515726 07776 987245 [email protected]
  17. Just employed Mick and his colleague to verify the integrity of two chimney breasts, sweep two chimneys and fit one high top and one flue vent. Mick took care to: explain everything carefully, advise which chimneys should or shouldn’t be used, and keep the surrounding rooms as soot free as possible. I thought his prices were reasonable and his work was thorough. Mick A1 Chimney Sweeps 0208 777 4674 07860 263874
