  6. Hello! I am asking on behalf of a friend if you could look out for a chanel purse. It was stolen today from a student at Harris Girls East Dulwich. The purse is black leather and we think that it may have been thrown away in or around Peckham Rye Park. It is of great sentimental value as it was a present from her Father. Please PM me if you find it or have any information leading to it's return....thank you!!!!

Ms Hopkins for biology who would get very red and flustered when talking about the "birds and bees"...and the new biology teacher Ms Lunt who had the unfortunate surname which with a bit of "flowery writing" could be something quite different!!!!! Ms Hopkins the needlework teacher 4ft tall and very fierce (was that her name)????? OH and the stream and all those jumps!!!!!!and falling in !!!! AND smoking in the shrubbery How I hated school!!!!!!!!

  13. True Andy and mittens...sadly it is not the only shooting we have had in the Barry Road area. I know of at least two others
  14. K I'm back. Police said it is a shooting down nr to Barrys offy (by the lights) and the road is likely to be closed for hours.... Police would only say possibly fatal
  15. My Hubby says that it is on the corner of Barry/ Underhill. He thought it was another crash. Will go and have a look..BRB
  16. Dont know if connected , but I saw that a car window had been smashed in Underhill Road close to the junction of Henslowe
  17. and what colour is this car????????????????????/ (sorry but someone had to ask???)
  18. OMG sssssssssshhh DONT tell my Hubby LOL....At the moment he treks into Bromley. He always gets a good deal there.
  19. Thanks for that. Michael says there are quite a few markets that sell bikes around. The nearest one is down the Walworth Road. Going to go and have a look round again.
  20. Another update re description of the bike... It has a hydrolic brake system i.e two small cannisters containing oil on each of the handlebars. It has a bike chain within a tube around the frame and the seat to stop the seat from being removed. There are three mudflaps, one unusually in the centre of the bike. This bike has been DNA identkitted and has an orange sticker underneath the frame. We just want it back no questions asked.
  21. hmph.....he popped into the shop....was only seconds, which is all it takes. What makes it worse was that he had another bike stolen from there a couple of years ago.WE KNOW, WE KNOW, and really dont need reminding that it was foolish, but anyone who knows my madcap son (and lots of you do) will know how impulsive and spontaneous he is, and like many others doesnt think.... IT IS a very dinstinctive bike, and apart from the rear blue back wheel, it has a playboy logo on the front mudguard!!! Feel slightly let down by the community warden who was very sarcastic saying dont you know the number of the police...it's 999. update two boys were seen walking up dunstans road with it
  22. very true...but they would have to be complete eeejitts...as Pierre said We'll keep an eye out. It's the only bike with blue tyres I've seen round here.
  23. Thanks.....but its only got one blue tyre now, the back one. They stole the front wheel last week........
