i would recommend andreas delecatessen in lordship lane for lentils peppers aubergines tomatoes couscous etc etc ....nice bread ...herbs friendlyish service ...olives are good in there too
-
i believe the man who has a pop up in grace and favour also sells lovely rusty chairs on the market on a saturday too
try appley hoare in the pimlico road and i think you'll find this might be a cheap 19th century chair ...try driving back from the south of france with chairs and the price of diesel i imagine might be adding to the end price
personally i find that trainers made in korea selling under a brand name costling just a couple of pounds but selling for about 90 far more offensive
and there is freedom of choice no one makes anyone buy anything .......do they ?

i agree with blueOne
never a truer word spoken on ye old forum ........
and jeeeez you all need to get off 'tha' keyboard and get out into this fine city of ours
and if we bemoan the loss of certain local shops pubs and the like dont we need to support them .most of us have no idea of the costs involved in opening or indeed running a pub shop etc

i believe its to be another baby and childrens shop ....yawn
however just to be pedantic i believe the true pioneers of ncr and maybe east dulwich ? were the blue mountain ...followed by the grace and favour which used to be a cafe and a shop . then came willow ,then thai corner ,then anterior trading and then ED when ncr was up and running as a popular street..we used to have red chilli pizza and a key cutting shop where stella b and fresh flower are .in my opinion at never hit the spot they never changed their stock or displays thought im sure there were people who loved it .i just felt it was rather dated .the rents can never be put up beyond market retail per square footage rates in any given area .there is always the right to appeal .lordship lane used to be far less intersting than ncr something which has rapidly changed ,with green and blue moo too le chandelier and the 'chains '
im of the opinion its all good

my main worry wouldnt be stds those are another impportant issue , but the fact that everybody could end up sadder than they were before , also going back always has more onus on the one who has finished it not to hurt the other once more ....yet as keef says , unlikely that people change ..in the same dynamicat least . other people/new partners allow us to behave differently for a while at least SO SOMETIMES WE DO . hes trying to be better in this new relationship>
LIZZYWOTSIT * sic you may be one of those caring doers who take over and make people feel in adequate i am guilty of the same its to do with my childhood where i had to be a coper at an early age , its often worth looking at your self first and not others and learning to recognise repeated patterns of behaviour which may not be good for you in the long run
-
yes they are i have mentioned them already as the people behind the stall in nx road the black bird bakery the guy is called eammon a very nice chap he is too

the minmum wage is about 5.55 per hour something like that which is about eleven or twelve dollars
hey do some reading down and out in london and paris by george orwell
or 'on the road' jack kerouac these will give you no practical advice but are required reading for youngsters like your self ...erm india would make your dollars go much further by the way and theres a rough guide to india which will answer all your questions

SOME PLUM COMMENTS THEN IT ALL WENT PEAR SHAPED

beer .....2.80 to 3 pounds a pint
cigarettes about a fiver ........
a mars bar etc around the 45 to 50 p mark
covent garden soup carrot and coriander for example 1.85
buy the expensive bread if you love it what we like is what we like ....I LIKE chocolate that costs a fortune my choice
and NOW TO RECOUP THE money squandered on bread make your own carrot and coriander soup
method
take one onion some celery a large potato ...wash chop and put into a large saucepan with a drop of olive oil or veg oil if broke . add one clove of garlic squashed fry this all gently until the onions are cooking but not browning
wash and chop about ten carrots add these .now add one litre of water /preferably stock . if no stock add one maggi veggie stock cube . or similar . a bay leaf is good and coriander seeds crushed if you have them and black pepper but NO salt as soups reduce slightly and salt intensifies
a dash of soy sauce is also good cook this lot up on a medium heat for about 40 minutes BLEND then taste. IF ITS TOO THICK ADD A LITTLE WATER NOW add salt if you feel it needs it sprinkle with as much fresh coriander as you like eat with very EXPENSIVE bread and butter X
PS this is enough soup for about six people or two to three gluttons

when did you split up ? have you met anyone you like since ? how old are your children ? do you work ?a part time job can be a good way to meet people not just lovers but new friends.
do you have the money or time/energy or time for hobbies. group stuff like skating bowls and reading groups
ie the forums own booksharing group .
i totally undersatnd the lonliness and the lack of sex can be frustrating . am i right in thinking you finished with the ex ? i identify with this feeling BUT i can assure you if you ever made this guy feel inadequate then this wi=ould rear up and haunt you both he MAY still be the same bloke you got bored and disillusioned with just your circumstances are casting him in a new light . for your sake i hope him or his bird arent reading this forum ..........:}
