  8. i believe the man who has a pop up in grace and favour also sells lovely rusty chairs on the market on a saturday too try appley hoare in the pimlico road and i think you'll find this might be a cheap 19th century chair ...try driving back from the south of france with chairs and the price of diesel i imagine might be adding to the end price personally i find that trainers made in korea selling under a brand name costling just a couple of pounds but selling for about 90 far more offensive and there is freedom of choice no one makes anyone buy anything .......do they ?
  9. hello think tom in grace and favour started the whip round with fresh flower co ..tom at the stall gathered it together and people were very kind ...it was pie in the sky who was mugged zandra ...best day shed ever had ...ran after boys in the snow ..they had yanked and broken her bag off her shoulder x
  10. my goodness me , is the administrator on holiday ? chav gay ? dreary reading any way you take it .......
  11. i agree with blueOne never a truer word spoken on ye old forum ........ and jeeeez you all need to get off 'tha' keyboard and get out into this fine city of ours and if we bemoan the loss of certain local shops pubs and the like dont we need to support them .most of us have no idea of the costs involved in opening or indeed running a pub shop etc
  12. colours on lordship lane pubs ......i use the term pub loosely purple edt black gloss black cherry matt black bishop tasteful green palmerston funky concrete licorish majolica tiles franklins farrow and ballsy beige le chandelier dark brown magdala blueish/black plough the yellow was maybe to jolly ? you should see the colour they're painting the new green and blue .......very tasteful
  13. i believe its to be another baby and childrens shop ....yawn however just to be pedantic i believe the true pioneers of ncr and maybe east dulwich ? were the blue mountain ...followed by the grace and favour which used to be a cafe and a shop . then came willow ,then thai corner ,then anterior trading and then ED when ncr was up and running as a popular street..we used to have red chilli pizza and a key cutting shop where stella b and fresh flower are .in my opinion at never hit the spot they never changed their stock or displays thought im sure there were people who loved it .i just felt it was rather dated .the rents can never be put up beyond market retail per square footage rates in any given area .there is always the right to appeal .lordship lane used to be far less intersting than ncr something which has rapidly changed ,with green and blue moo too le chandelier and the 'chains ' im of the opinion its all good
  14. BURGERS ARE FINE AS RARE AS RARE YES STEAK CAN BE EATEN RAW WITH NO RISKS ..IF FRESH ? gbk WAS STARTED BY TWO KIWIS THEN THEN SOLD TO A GROUP CALLED 'THE REAL GREEK 'I SUSPECT THATS WHEN THINGS WENT AWRY . sorry my caps locked :} ive been a couple of times its been fine friendly service the paying ordering thing is tedious i admit , its to stop people fiddling the money side of things and for no other reason . why not have a food adventure have a starter in one place get the bill a main in another and a pud some where else ? like the fab brownies at the gowlett gooey chocolate and good vanilla ice cream ...........mind you it ? 4 for you folk who think food is too expensive in ed and its environs ...

  17. his asian wife or sheila his english wife but .......im not allowed to say that am i ?
  18. my main worry wouldnt be stds those are another impportant issue , but the fact that everybody could end up sadder than they were before , also going back always has more onus on the one who has finished it not to hurt the other once more ....yet as keef says , unlikely that people change ..in the same dynamicat least . other people/new partners allow us to behave differently for a while at least SO SOMETIMES WE DO . hes trying to be better in this new relationship> LIZZYWOTSIT * sic you may be one of those caring doers who take over and make people feel in adequate i am guilty of the same its to do with my childhood where i had to be a coper at an early age , its often worth looking at your self first and not others and learning to recognise repeated patterns of behaviour which may not be good for you in the long run
  19. yes they are i have mentioned them already as the people behind the stall in nx road the black bird bakery the guy is called eammon a very nice chap he is too
  20. the minmum wage is about 5.55 per hour something like that which is about eleven or twelve dollars hey do some reading down and out in london and paris by george orwell or 'on the road' jack kerouac these will give you no practical advice but are required reading for youngsters like your self ...erm india would make your dollars go much further by the way and theres a rough guide to india which will answer all your questions :} not that we dont want you in in east dulwich you understand .......... kyle monrose finally makes it to ed to find the cpt desserted with tumble weed ok ok i know thats how it always looks :}
