  1. I live in Copleston Rd and the last week has been a nightmare, it's been continuous. It's driving me loopy!
  2. Thank you everyone for all the replies, I am sure I'll manage to find one somewhere.
  3. Thanks, wasn't really keen in getting from moonpig or funkypigeon but if I can't find any I might just need to!
  4. Yes, not looking for the plain post office type. Was hoping for something with pictures that were a bit more local than to what you would get in town.
  5. Does anyone know of any shops in ED or Peckham that sells postcards? Thanks :)
  6. People that don't move down inside the bus when there is plenty of space and then block everyone else from getting on. People that get on the bus and stand at the exit door even though there is plenty of seats available and then block the way for everyone getting off as they won't move for you. (even when you say excuse me) People that get on the bus and pack out the lower deck even though the "there are seats available on the upper deck" message has been played 10 times in a row. People that get on the bus at Peckham Rye Station then get off at the Aylesham Centre or Peckham Library. Why?? Just walk! Also, is there a daily race going on when everyone gets off the buses at Peckham Rye Station? I usually go into the station to get a metro to read on the bus. Walking to the bus stop from the station is like a human dodgem game as it seems that everyone that gets off the buses sprint to the train station. The prize must be a good one if everyone wants to take part! I feel I am missing out. I am generally in a rage over the buses every day. I don't want to get started on the trains.
  7. I was supposed to be going on a hen weekend that weekend but it's now been changed to a week earlier. I'll be there with bells on!
  8. Is anyone going to this instead of Glastonbury as it's not on this year? Line up announced today: T in the Park 2012 I love T in the Park, luckily for me though I have lovely kind and considerate friends that want to get married therefore I need to give up my T ticket. :'( This is the 2nd time this has happened!
  9. I hadn't checked my emails on been on the forum but I turned up on Saturday ....... at half 10! I don't know why I had half 10 in my mind! I couldn't see anyone so I went for a quick jog around the park then went home :(
  10. I really enjoyed it today, surprised at myself how far I managed to jog! The weather was great for it as well.
  11. Laddy Muck, what did I say at the game?? 2! And FYI I've only been to Somerset Park twice this season. The rest have been away games!
  12. I've not been to a game since the Godalming cup game a couple of months ago so will make it along to this one.
  13. I've emailed a form over so I have the best intentions of making it on Saturday.
  14. I used to be a regular but not been since 2008, but that will all change for next year as already bought my ticket!!

  16. Edinburgh City play in the East of Scotland League along with Civil Service Strollers, Edinburgh University, Herriott Watt Uni and Lothian Thistle that are all from Edinburgh! I think Leith Thistle play in East of Scotland too. Perth used to be known as St Johns Toun or something like that years and years ago.

You were kinda close, the commentator said "they'll be dancing in the streets of Raith tonight" when Raith Rovers from Kirkcaldy beat Celtic in 1994 I think it was in the League Cup. East Fife are from Methil which is just up the coast from Kirkcaldy, the 2 teams are fierce rivals!
  18. I know this is a bit late now but only just read this thread, the number 40 buses were going up Peckham Rye by the train station on Wednesday morning! They were going in both directions. But that was at about 7.45am I noticed that when I was waiting for the 63. But no idea if they would still be going that way at 2pm.
  19. He set a league record in 2009 for going 1311 minutes without conceding a goal. He is 7th in list of top 10 goalkeepers in the world on World Soccer. He is the oldest player to win the Premier League. He as won more than most! United will miss him. All the best van der Sar! (info from World Soccer and ManUtd.com)

  21. You are very welcome!:))
  22. I am currently off the booze at the moment but I will be ready for a few drinks that night!!
  23. Another Scot here! I am undecided if Scotland should be independent or not. I have thought about it for a while and still can't make my mind up! I know alot of people as well that voted SNP for the 1st time, mainly as they have said everything the SNP said they would do they have done. It's not solely down to wanting independence. I was in Scotland last weekend for a wedding so got my fix. Glad to be back in London tho!
