My eldest daughter had a tongue tie, not spotted until 3 1/2 and was related to developing a lisp. Never any problems with feeding as a baby. At kings they explained that there are three levels of tongue tie and not all benefit from surgery. My daughter did have surgery and her mouth was scarred internally as a result. She ended up having 6 more operations and then a final operation to have two salivary glands removed as the scarring from the tongue tie op meant they could no longer drain. They would get so blocked they would swell and prevent her from eating and affected speech more than tongue tie ever did! Years of speech therapy, lots of time off school and years of discomfort for her. This maybe an isolated experience but be cautious.

Youth offenders unit moving to east dulwich rd

Biggest criminals???? er no they are all in the clink or on the way. A YOT is really not worthy of the concern and hysteria being generated. I manage staff in one in another Borough and residents don't even know its there. Trust me if the naughty youths are engaging you don't need to worry about them. worry about the ones who don't pitch up or get caught. -
Cut through the cemetery on brenchley gardens. All flat

The value differential: ED vs Nunhead & The Oak
nicolajaneG replied to MrBen's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Mmm. My partner had been pushing for the move for years but I couldnt bear to leave ED. Now I wouldn't return. And with a daughter heading for Prendergast I realise that ED is a black hole when it comes to secondary schools -
The value differential: ED vs Nunhead & The Oak
nicolajaneG replied to MrBen's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I moved with my family to Honor Oak last year after 17 years in ED. We have a fabulous house at much better rice than in ED and rising thanks to the lovely overground. There are hidden green spaces such as Blythe Hill and some great eateries close by in Brockley. If only commuters would stop nabbing the parking spaces all would be grand. The families here are more down to earth than the posey ones seen in Lordship Lane and taking over eateries without consideration of others. -
Its great that ED residents are catching on to the benefits of the Overground though i do wish more people would consider accessing the station without needing to take parking spaces from us residents. I iive under 5 minutes walk from the station and am fed up of my once quiet street being full of noise and nowhere to park. The problem of this influx of commuters will inevitably lead to parking permits so in the end everyone will suffer.
