  1. HI I'm looking for a really creative landscaper/company to transform our small garden into a child-friendly urban oasis. At the moment it's fine but I'm really looking to take it is to next level so that we have a space where children can play (but where play equipment does not dominate the space) and adults also want to be and not just for a couple of months in the summer. It needs to be low maintenance and still look appealing over the winter months. I would be really grateful for any recommendations. Thanks in advance. Emma
  2. Thanks so much to the person who put it back outside the church hall this morning. You are a great person! I accidentally left my blue micro scooter on Gilkes Place outside the old Audi garage and across the road from St. Barnabus Parish hall just before 5pm this evening. Admittedly, it is quite beaten up so I wouldn't be surprised if someone thought it had been dumped but in actual fact it is very well loved and essential getting to school transport. Really grateful to anyone who is able to help secure its safe return. Cheers.
  3. Hi My Au Pair arrived from Italy a couple of weeks ago and is keen to meet other Au Pairs locally. She is 19 and absolutely lovely, although a bit shy hence why I'm keen to help her get settled as quickly as possible. It would be great to hear from any Au Pairs who might be interested in meeting up. Thanks in advance Emma
  4. Hi I'm looking for a talented carpenter to build some fitted storage in keeping with a period property. Someone who has a lot of experience of building bespoke storage solutions from scratch would be ideal. Thanks
  5. Hi Grateful for any recommendations. My living room carpet (100% wool) has been battered by my children and is sorely in need of some TLC. Thanks.
  6. Hi all I've got a birthing pool to give away. Fran- I know you said you were interested when we met at the plough a couple of weeks ago but I didn't get your number. Hopefully you will see this and can let me know if you still want it. Otherwise, I'm keen to pass it on to someone who can use it. I'm booked in for a caesarean so won't need it this time. I also have the pump, step, hose so you would just need a new liner. Emma
  7. Hi all Agree that regular get togethers are a great idea but unfortunately I won't be able to make an alternate Saturday meet up until 26 may which feels a long way away. I don't work Mondays or Friday afternoons, so if anyone fancies meeting up on one of those days, then let me know. I'm going to France tomorrow for a week but am then around. Would love to meet any summer mums but would be particularly great to get to know others who are going to be juggling their newborn and a toddler. I already have a very active 13 month old boy. If anyone is interested I could meet on 14 or 18 May? Look forward to seeing lots of you on 26 May and to hopefully seeing some of you before then. Emma
  8. Hi All My second baby is due 7 August and I already have a 12 month old baby boy so would be great to meet other expectant summer mums. 10 march at the plough sounds good. Did you guys decide on a time? Look forward to meeting all those who are able to make it. Emma
