  1. As above. I'm looking for someone to make a few pairs and would love to hear recommendations. Thanks in advance
  2. Does anyone know if it's on tomorrow and can you drop in? Thanks
  3. Hello, I'd be interested in hearing from any current or ex parents of this pre school. I'm considering it for my nearly 3 year old (to start in September). He's currently at a day nursery twice a week and I'm wondering whether more but shorter days is better, or whether to keep him in the routine he is used to. Having looked around a few pre schools, I liked DVPS. Any insight would be appreciated.
  4. Another recommendation for Christine Langhoff. I have recently been a client of hers to try to feel better and more 'together' after the birth of my second child. She has a great manner and is very easy to talk to. I feel she has equipped me with the tools to remain positive and 'on top of' how I'm feeling.
  5. Does anyone know where I might be able to get my second hand p&t's dodgy brake repaired? I've looked at buggy pit stop online but will probably cost the same as I bought it for with courier costs as well. Thanks
  6. Brilliant. Thanks for these replies
  7. Does anyone know anywhere in ED where I can get these done? I know snappy snaps in Camberwell does it but was hoping to go somewhere a bit closer. Thanks
  8. Hi, Can any suggest and/or recommend any small day nurseries in SE22 area for 2 year old. Thanks
  9. Jelly tots in Herne Hill. http://www.jellytotscafe.co.uk
  10. Does anyone know of/can anyone recommend any baby/toddler activities next week? I am off work (teacher) with my 21 month old and my sister is visiting with her 14 month old. Any inspiration would be greatly welcomed! Thanks
  11. Does anyone know what time Sainsburys is open tomorrow (Monday 28th). Thanks
  12. David O'Brien and his team have now done two major jobs on our house (one was general overhaul, then more recently a loft conversion). Once you get past David's jokes, they are great to work with, get the job done on time and on budget and really care about getting it right. David - 07960 938621 PM me if you'd like more info
  13. Hoping to draw on people's experience. Headed to Beckenham spa yesterday for one of the baby pool swim sessions with my 16 month old. Pool closed when we got there so we took him in the main pool. He was absolutely fine so happily my plan is to use 'big' pools (or learner) pools but not restrict myself to the times of the hydrotherapy pools. My experience at Crystal Palace rd fusion are that it's quite cold (swam a lot there when pregnant). Can anyone shed any light on the temp of other pools around? Doesn't have to be warm, just bearable for skinny toddler. Thank you
  14. Couldn't tell you how much to expect, but Bill (07984 976627) painted our external windows and surrounding stonework. Very reasonably priced and a really nice guy to deal with.
  15. Another recommendation for Paul and Vince at Nunhead carpets. Great service, really nice blokes. Will go the extra mile.
  16. Hello, Apologies if this question has been posed before. I'm looking for inspiration of how to keep busy with my 14/15 month old during the summer holidays (I'm a teacher with term-time only childcare). Aside from playing in the garden/park, swimming, play dates, I'm really wondering if there are any play schemes/play groups that run over the summer so that my little boy can continue to play with other children. Thanks in advance.
  17. Was this it? Though not sure the information is still relevant http://datacollator.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/primary-schools-around-east-dulwich.html
  18. Maybe here: http://www.thebotanistonsloanesquare.com Right by Cadogan Hall. I enjoy going with my dad before a concert at The Albert Hall (I am a bit older than 7 though). Pre-theatre menu might suit your needs?
  19. Thank you. Sounds like I'm not too far off with my understanding. So, next question...are there educational benefits to sending your preschooler to a nursery attached to a primary school rather than sending them to (or keeping them in) a private nursery?
  20. Hello - really hoping someone can help me understand local state nurseries. I'm a way off but would like to get my head around how it all works. I'm assuming there's less of a catchment issue than at the same school for a reception start? But is there any guarantee that your child would have a place at that school if you sent them to the nursery. If, for instance, I sent my son to Heber nursery, might I then find he didn't get a place there for reception onwards and would have to go to whichever school he did get a place at. Is my understand pretty much correct or am I totally misunderstanding the system. Thanks
  21. Looking for a surveyor to draw up a schedule of condition ahead of our loft conversion. Can anyone recommend anyone and give an idea of cost? Thanks
  22. Is it on this week (half term)? Thanks
