The last person to recommend viber to me was my dentist - so maybe... I use FB for (mostly distant yet extant) friends/family and don't have any FB friends that I have never personally met - just don't go in for that side of it ("I have 6,000 FB friends!! etc."). Find the whole 'Friend or Offend' thing - invites from those you don't want to keep up with OR snub - tricky sometimes.

Key is WBA game - lose that and Sam will be out. Malky, Pepe Mel & Harry all seem to be in the frame. Not looking good for hanging on to Ravel Morrison either with this ridiculous "West Ham have to quadruple his wages if there's a ?10 mill offer for him or sell him" http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/west-ham/10539972/West-Ham-face-losing-Ravel-Morrison-over-extraordinary-clause-for-concern.html Predictions - Chelsea to win Premier, Man C & Liverpool 2nd & 3rd with Arsenal pipping a demoralised Man U into 4th. Irons to be relegated with Sam and survive without him.

I'd suggest something retro yet daring- A Windolene white-out with finger-written messages (according to season etc.) and an optional newspaper/sellotape collage over the hole where the xpelair was.

Allardyce was given a target of six points from 2013's last four games and has achieved - one. So unless he can get five points against West Brom he's out. That's certain. Deffo. Nailed on. Fer real guy. Innit?
  5. A hero in the past and not a villain now imho. Swann's always been outspoken and he's probably right in what he says - it beats being a yes-man. Leaving now is right - the Ashes are lost and it gives Borthwick &/or Tredwell a couple of tests with nothing but pride at stake to see if they are up to it - a baptism of fire but with little to lose given the humiliating results of the tour so far. Time for some of the others to perform.

Though it's ironic the win came when BFS didn't care or prepare for a win (because he thought that would adversely affect the game at Old Trafford at the weekend - and that losing said OT game would make a mockery of Allardicci's foresight) it's true the tactics (hang on for 80 minutes, shove on a couple of subs and see if you can nick it at the end - oh, and try a long ball or two when the opposition are knackered) were his. Problem is we're not going to play a team with such a poor defense very often. With that in mind I hear a polite request has gone in to Tottenham Hotspur FC from the West Ham board that, bearing in mind the current economic climate and subject to official FA & Premier League ratification, they (West Ham) be allowed to play them (Tottenham Hotspur) every week. :) And after being scathing of Maiga all season I am now backing him to achieve a miracle transformation into a top goal-scorer* *or, a goal scorer.

Why you should never let anyone pop your bubble EP - and why BFS making 7 changes inspired the players (despite himself) to show the ignorant sod that they are better off when he DOESN'T want to win a game. :) :) :)

There's still the irrational but permanent optimism endemic in following the Irons - the glimmer that a team of kids, the ignored and frustrated, the unfit and the workaday players might play out of their skins against Spurs :)

this in the Indy - "When a club of West Ham?s limited horizons effectively sacrifice the chance of a League Cup semi-final place to prepare for a League visit to Old Trafford, the extent of the challenge becomes clear. Allardyce confirmed his intention to select fringe players for Wednesday?s quarter-final tie against Tottenham at White Hart Lane. ?We have to prepare to do what others have done, get points at Manchester United,? he said. ?As much as I don?t like to admit it, that?s the more important game.? joyless, clueless, hopeless,

At this point of the season back in 2010, under a clueless jowly faced manager, WH had 13 points and the season had consisted of losses, a lot of draws and 2 wins - the one high point being a win over Spurs. The board stayed with Grant til the end of the season - and relegation. ring a bell?

Harry must be having a 'right chuckle'. Well, BFS DID say AVB was immature - go for maturity Mr Levy, pleeeeease! Sam out by New Year - odds on.

Re the interview - yes saw that and heard Sullivan say that "if you were looking to bring in a manager Sam is the one you would be looking to bring in so who is there better etc etc?" - well they've got to say that while he's still there - chairman's vote of confidence etc. But he ALSO said the manager would be judged at the end of the season so even if we survive I see him gone - Gold and porno won't jeopardize the megabucks move to Olympic heaven. BFS's philosophy is clear - try and keep 'em out and worry about getting goals later - "We have seven clean sheets already in the first 15 games... sooner or later when we get that clean sheet we'll score one goal and win a game." It is having such a negative effect on what good players we DO have that things are getting worse not better. A change must come because even a part-time coach or a newbie manager would be a better choice right now. The Downing signing was crazy and everyone knew that when it happened and everyone also knew before a ball was kicked that we were light in the striker dept. and that, without signing a good one, we were screwed - but eggs and baskets and not spending any more money meant they relied on Carroll coming back quickly and the team holding up until then. Now every agent knows they're desperate and will charge a fortune for average players in January. My fear is that Diame etc will leave and it'll be a whole rebuild job - so badly has Sam fucked things up.

What a game - turns out City's extraordinary effort was because Pellegrini thought he needed to win by 3 goals to get 3 points... Oh and the Irons, at home, against a bottom team, appear to be playing like shit. Again. Only half time though - maybe Allardicci has speech of 'grande ispirazione' up his manicotto.

We need the distraction - I feel a cup/relegation combo coming on. Carroll will probably be back and want to impress potential buyers with a good cup run - he's probably spent his downtime looking for holes in his contract - betting relegation will see him out the door. deja vu again

Nah, looking forward to us being mauled by Nigeria, scraping a win against Honduras and needing to beat Uruguay by 2 goals to progress.
