I can't help you but am also looking for recommendations as to which agents to use to sell. I was surprised at how little the usually very fruitful search for anything on the EDF revealed. Is this a sign of the times I wonder. No Flies seems highly rated from what I did find but little else.

Gosh. I'm new to the whole primary school thing as my kids are only now approaching school age, but I'm shocked a head would be put or go on leave from one set of KS2 scores which don't seem awful. Does that really happen or is there more to it?! When I initally read this post it didn't affect my putting Dog Kennel down as one of our top choices but if the departure of the head is due to SATS that does make me think twice.

I'm thinking of putting this down as one of my 6 schools on the primary application. I didn't actually get to see it unfortunately. I would appreciate any feedback from parents on their experiences. Thanks

I can't help you with feedback as I'm in the same position of really wanting to know how parents find it. It looked like it had potential from a visit I did but I'm finding it a little tricky to actually put it down as one of my choices without really knowing what it's like. So I'm adding my voice as another request for forumites in the know to get in touch pls.

That's great Renata thanks. I've get a message from the Southwark Parent Partnership that this will likely be February time for this round of applications. Ie not before the submission deadline which is a shame.

Hi ., I'd love to know when it's announced which primary schools will be bulging for Sept 2014. Does anyone know? In previous years, is it before the deadline for applications is due in January? I can imagine it would impact which 6 schools you apply for. Thanks a lot

James: I'd like to go back to the proposed Harris primary scheduled to open for Sept 2014 - will there be further meetings for interested parents to attend to hear more about the school? It would be very helpful to know as the primary school application season has opened now. Thanks

We were having problems about a week ago but it seems to have cleared up now. Still on the subject of BT but its TV service: does anyone have reception problems? It's really odd but for several months we either have problems with all BBC channels and then it'll switch to all ITV and Channel 4 channels. I rang BT up and they said it must be an aerial problem but we don't understand how it can group the channels together and affect either one set or the other. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know of any One O'Clock Clubs or other children's centres that have one in the area pls? Thanks

I very nearly fell for this scam a year ago when we'd just moved in. As he made a reference to the previous owner of the house being a doctor - which was true - I thought he must be bona fide. I'm still waiting for him to clean my windows a year on but fortunately didn't pre-pay. The nerve of the guy - I'd love to see a picture of him on here.

I never found anything local but if you google Medela you can ring them direct. They're very helpful, priced the same as Amazon but their delivery was the next day when I needed it.

Hi AZH I think there's a playgroup at the Goose Green Centre on Thursday mornings. I've not been but I've heard it's good - although this may be for very little ones. Tumbletots is great for 2 year olds. We moved here a year ago - I remember well the feeling of starting over in a new area. It is a great area though and brilliant for families. I've got 2 year old twins and would be happy to meet for a coffee/walk round the park so the kids could play together and I could tell you what we've found locally that we like. Let me know if this is of interest.
