  1. I am thinking of putting my children into Gumboots nursery. Would be grateful for any experiences / feedback of the nursery - both good and bad. Thank you!
  2. Hi, The next twin ante natal work shop at King's is on 3 october at 9.30am. It is lead by King's College Hospital midwives, but there is also one or two members of the twin club who comes along to speak about their Birthing and feeding experiences. http://ddtwinsclub.org/new/support/kings-college-hospital-talks/
  3. I was there on Saturday and it was still closed. One of the reception staff said they hoped (but could not guarantee) to have part of it open Monday (yesterday) but all of it would not be. They were not sure when all of it would be open again.
  4. Hej. Tyvarr jobbar jag I morgon. Men Foljer garna med lite pa Facebook sa kanske jag kan fa till det att komma med nagon dag och traffas. Ha det as trevligt I morgon! Maria
  5. Hi. My little ones also had reflux. It happened a couple of times a day and a lot came up. It looked like the whole bottle! Doctor would not give them any medication as it did not happen every time they fed and they were putting on weight. I just took it as one of those things and they grew out of it eventually (well, by the time they're we're about one). It was pretty hard work though. I saw the doctors at King's who did not seem worried. I would suggest to go and see a doctor though, if nothing else but to put your mind at rest.
  6. I emailed Dorcas at the council who said that anyone can attend, but only those who have opposed the application will be allowed to have their say. Others can listen in. I have opposed, but am yet to receive an invitation though......

  8. Is this the Great Exhibition organising the meeting on the 16th or the Council?
  9. I also read in Southwark News that "LINk Southwark will collect views of the public and specific comments and revert these to the PCT". The article states that the consultation ends on 27th August and that to have your say you should email link@ch1889.org or call 020 7358 7005.
  10. Actress closes at 12.30 on Fridays and Saturdays.
  11. Try Cheeky Cs when they open again in September. They are in Greendale Hut by JAGS. Not too expensive and you can have a coffee too! I have only just discovered it. Easy access with double buggy too, which you leave in the corner of the hall. They usually have a thread on EDF. Look out for the name Artastic (I think it is). They should have a session on Thursdays when they open as they did before the summer. Peckham Rye one o clock club is apparently supposed to be open Mondays (and Wednesdays)from now on between 11-4. I have found that they are not always open when they say they will be though but hopefully that will change! There was a soft play session in the Albrighton centre on Thursdays before the summer. (2-5 yrs) May be worth checking with them if it will be open again.
  12. Have to say that I was quite pleased that the pub was refurbished and was looking forward to a really nice local pub being on my door step. Little did I know that the new owners got the license changed straight away so that they can be open for longer than CPT could and in particular that they are allowed to have doors and windows open until the pub closes at 12.30 so that us 'lucky' neighbours get to listen to the music as we try to go to bed.... Would have been nice to be consulted when the original license was granted. To now apply for an extended license to 2.30 with dancing is ridiculous as this is a residential area. Have had no choice but to object to the council. I am being disturbed enough as it is now.
  13. I agree with fazer71, the phasing is completely wrong. If it was green for a bit longer it would help enormously.
  14. Yes, BT has definitely rolled out fibre optic broadband to the dulwich / Peckham area. ( the large green street cabinets on the street corners are for BT fibre broadband.) if not yet available at your address, then it should be soon.
  15. Hi. The safety strap is mainly there if you have young kids that may climb on furniture which may then tip over, that's why they need to be secured to the wall. No kids - no need to secure!
