Talk of the town - Ardal O'Hanlon! Read this expecting a laugh. It was bleak! My Legendary Girlfriend - Mike Gayle. He's written quite a few "chick lit for blokes" type books, some of which I've enjoyed. Tgis was his first outing and it made me depressed and claustrophobic.

Was a while ago, but I don't think I ever had a problem with TLS, or SteveT for that matter. Didn't agree with some of their outdated world views, but didn't think they were queuing up ro join the BNP either.

Can I ask roughly how old this "young guy" was? Are we talking nasty teenager (15 - 18) or young adult do you think? Not suggesting that it would make a difference to how unpleasant the experience must have been, just wondering.

I felt at the time like I couldn't say anything on any thread without UDT trying to pick a row with me. I disliked him and I occasionally took the piss because he invited it. I never intentionally tried to gang up though.

Yep, seems pretty out of order when the runners up in other leagues don't have to qualify. Champions (even of a crap league made even crapper by the loss of their one realistic rival) should play in the Champions League.

Apparently he's said he won't submit a transfer request, so by Mourinho's own words, that should be an end to it. He was by far the best player in last night's bore fest. Cabaye is seriously lacking class.

Good start to the season for Liverpool compared to recent years. Sturridge and Coutinho are looking excellent together, Saurez will need to earn his place back in the team if those 2 keep this up! I hope they keep him on the bench for a bit. Don't want to speak to soon, because we're never consistent, but I feel cautiously optimistic that we'll be in the 4th place mix this season.
