    Breaking Bad

LOL, know what you mean. I really hope Jessie makes it!
  4. "A BAD man with a DARK soul." Think opposites. He's a funny film character.
  5. I suspect that won't put anyone off. As I said in the lounge thread, it would be great if the space was used for a youth centre much like the one that has recently been built on Wells Park Road, Sydenham. It won't happen though.
  6. In all seriousness, it would be great to see them build a youth centre similar to the one that has recently been built on Wells Park Road in Sydenham.
  7. Laser Dome, 10 pin bowling and cinema complex with a roof pool complete with waterslides.
  8. Nope
  9. A BAD man with a DARK soul. He watches his weight and his hair do.

    Breaking Bad

Cool, so basically an hour each. Can't bloody wait, although I don't want it to end.

    Breaking Bad

Bloody hell. There was absolutely no let up!
  12. I'll ask my mum about this because when I was very young I can remember going to those prefabs to visit an elderly lady with her. This would be very early 80s.

Have to agree with Alan about fans in general.

Coutinho out for 6 weeks. That's a blow for LFC. Suarez had best come back on top form!
  15. So if you say you don't like a pub tgen you're on benefits? Have I got that right?
  16. For the record, I have nothing against the Great Exhibition, and I agree that the last uear or 2 of the CPT was a dying beast. My point was simply that, for me, that was MY East Dulwich and my best memories of the place are based around that pub and a circle of friends that are largely gone. For this reason ED is a pkace of melancholy for me now because it reminds me if thise heady days when nithing was important except who you were meeting in the pub that evening.

Of course in 5 years time when I turn 40 I shall revise this ;-)
  18. ED died with the CPT for me. Everytime I hear jazz from The Great Exhibition I'm reminded of everything I dislike about it now. But, I still think of it as "home", and will always love it.
  19. Won't be 2 days, but it will have to be a little while because my mind is blank (first day back to work, and too many emails!)
  20. Cool, I'm sure we'll be up for it if everyone is free.

I've only ever heard jazz there, and that's not real music.
  22. Too late foxy ;-)

We too puit on a night last year at The Half Moon Hearn Hill, which went really well, and it was cool to cut out the middle man. That's a great venue, but they've had a change of ownership since, and I believe they've been badly hit by the recent flood, so probably not an option in the immediate future. I think getting together with another band or two and splitting the cost of putting on a night (then splitting any takings) is a good way forward. Extra motivation to drag all your mates down, and to be heard by some new people.
  24. Devon Stockard from Lawn Dogs. Googled!!!
  25. Zonderlings (with a g) will be rehearsing this Friday after a short break so we'll get some gigs booked up soon.
