  1. This reminded me of something I witnessed as a teenager. I was at a bus stop in Brockley, and a white kid of about 8 was giving the most unbelievable racist verbal abuse to this poor African lady. I remember thinking what sort of home must he come from, and what hope is there for a kid growing up surrounded by people with that kind of mentality.
  2. I can't for the life of me imagine why a woman would want her father there!
  3. Agreed
  4. David Haye set to "come out of retirement" Does it count as retirement when it's a month?
  5. Just to add, that I can honestly not remember ever hearing q black person use this phrase (that is not to say they haven't, before someone provides video proof). I've only ever heard white people use it, in the same way that one might use "Chav". That is all that I meant. Equally, if I was (unintentionally) racist towards this bint, I don't seem to give a shit.
  6. Fair enough. I admit I'd not thought of it so deeply. I will state quite strongly though that I don't watch Springer or Kyle! I'm sorry for picking those words, what I basically meant was "nasty racist, uneducated, scum of the earth (who happens to be white)".
  7. Yes, because I was talking about a particular group, and they are white. Huguenot sums it up well.

Having read this, without posting for a bit, I just feel that MM's views do appear ideological, To suggest that running a, pretty small, business model, could offer a workable model for running government seems like madness and nothing less to me. DaveR, D_C and I are not beyond disagreement, but you do seem to be gunning for him specifically, which is poor form. A shame, as otherwise you are a good contributer. I am no expert on any of this, as indeed are none of you. I am sad however, to be in the current position I am in, and see people's jobs torn to shreds, because literally management don't actually understand the roles people play.

And you don't actually have to go to work.
  10. Do you have tinitus? Either that, or it's the tortured souls of battery hens screaming in your ears.
  11. It's okay, the brand new pump I'd bought this afternoon was set up backwards. A bit of experimentation, and I now have full tyres.
  12. It's not like the area outside of East Dulwich Station is one of natural beauty. As has been said, if it generates cash, which can be fed back in to the community, then great.
  13. Have flat tyres, and the hand pump I have doesn't seem to fit. What sort of adaptor do I need?
  14. I disagree.
  15. For anyone who thinks my use of the term "white trash" was racist. I'd argue that it is not. It's basically an American version of Chav. Now I know chav isn't very nice, but frankly, in this case, I couldn't give a toss.
  16. She is the worst type of white trash.
  17. We just use a blanket, and it has been the best thing I've ever bought. Baby gets rocked to sleep in it every evening. Much better than a Moses Basket!
  18. Is a badger cull a blood sport? I'm against most, and I'm not sure about the badger cull (because I don't know the arguments for it very well). I do think that if you're going to talk about blood sports, you should stick to blood sports.
  19. Tarot, people who have had bad experiences are free to discuss them, no one has stopped them. However, it is surely okay for people who have had different experiences to discuss those too. Your description of your experiences just don't ring even remotely true.
  20. That's right Tarot, several people have individually come to the conclusion that you're talking shit, so they must be a clique. I was with DMC in 2002, and still never encountered an Indian call centre. And I have never ever heard of someone being charged for an international call when they get put through to an Indian call centre. Surely no one would ever call their bank if that were the case. DMC has always had an East Dulwich phone number, which oddly enough, connects to the DMC in Dulwich. On the occasions I used to see Dr Gupta Jnr, I found him to be very nice, and good at his job. Good luck to them, there are much better things to worry about
  21. I was a patient at DMC for years, until 2009 when I changed (because I moved, no reflection on DMC). I never once got through to anyone other than the ladies on reception. Their accents weere very much South London!
  22. Did you ask him in his native tongue then?

    Hi

Karter, I used to kind of enjoy BBW, and thought his first banning, or maybe two, were harsh. However, a person can only be warned so many tines, and rather than reigning it in, he indulged in it, and has become nout but an offensive troll Strafer had to moderate a lot of that shit before he handed over the reigns, and has every right to feel strongly about this. No idea why you've kicked off on this thread, but to be honest, you're looking a bit silly.
  24. You said that already. I'm not particularly liking anyone now. Amelia Lily has a voice I quite like, but can't stay in tune.
