Have you thought of 'My Favoutite Nursery' on Upland Rd, both our daughters went there. We were v happy with the care and stimulation they received. Pre- summer, there was defiantly a 1/2 day option.

We have had the Ikea model for almost 18 months, both our daughters play with it solidly. I find that it is a good quality product, very safe and really supports their role/pretend play. Also, I have seen this in many nurseries locally, so it is a very popular option. Enjoy.

Hi Jennyh, Yes the pre-school room is very different to the 'little Explorers', this would be obvious as the ages of the children are much older, hence reflecting the ratios. We have two children at this nursery, one in each room. I found the settling in process to be easy and never had any upset. They look forward to going to nursery, and have formed strong relationships with their 'key persons'. The staff and management give time to all children and their carers both at had over/ feed back times, and also during their 6 monthly meetings. I have found that they embrace new initiatives the Early Years Developement, and impleament these measures in a way which benefits all children. I too am a Early Years Practicioner, I looked at a huge amount of nurseries, but nothing could compare with the welcome, an obvious love of children and an a genuine wish to nurture them which was and continues to be apparent at MFN. I know from my own experience that, the staff and management would be able to answer your queries, with pleasure. Best Regards.
