  1. I just want to add my recommendation for both Russell & Mark. Russell and his team have just replaced my slate roof. They have done a beautiful job for a reasonable price. Russell arranged for the scaffolding through Mark and, again, they did an excellent job. They all worked incredibly hard, talked me through the work done each day. Russell's expertise is obvious and in contrast to several others who provided quotes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Russell for roofing and Mark for scaffolding.
  2. I have used Hamish Lodge of Cut Above Management(07971055438) a number of times to prune and remove trees. He has a clear appreciation for trees and this is reflected in his approach .He came most recently last week to remove a wisteria from the front of my house. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. He and his team are always prompt, they do an excellent job and leave the area immaculate. A number of my neighbours also use him regularly.
  3. Lyndhurst Square are all set and ready for tomorrow.
  4. I recommended Niko previously and can say that he never even mentioned the Forum. He was just exceptionally helpful, efficient and decent to deal with.
  5. Miss Robson on Highshore Road is fantastic. Very low key and un-flashy but she is so good with dogs - a very gentle, quiet approach. When my little dog ruptured discs she was straight onto it and sending him straight up to the Royal Veterinary College. She is an excellent vet
  6. This sounds great. I popped in the other day and it looked superb. Rather better than most spas for humans. I will be bringing Monty down
  7. Miss Robson on Highshore Road is fantastic. Absolutely no frills but incredibly good with my dachshund. He had his annual jab on Thursday and didn't even notice because she was also busy stroking and talking to him. He is 4 yo and has been going since he was 8 weeks old. He adores her
  8. I am sure Ekster86 that you are being extremely careful not to in any way use your professional qualifications as some sort of blackmail. You will, undoubtedly, be aware that to do so would be a breach of your professional code of conduct
  9. Totally agree. He was fantastic when plumbing a dishwasher in and gave loads of advice about other issues in my house - none of which were to his advantage. He is a genuinely honest and able tradesman
  10. Niko was an absolute star in coming to look at my dishwasher at very short notice, quote on it there and then and arrange an appointment for the next working day when he plumbed it in. He also then walked round my house making incredibly sensible suggestions about all manner of problems that I raised. He fixed the lavatory pan at no extra cost. I found him to be incredibly efficient, decent and I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends or to use him again. Rachel
  11. I'm so sorry to hear this. However, if your mother is lucky enough to be treated by Mr Graham Groom, as I was at King's this summer, then you could not hope to have a better orthopaedic surgeon. He is quite extraordinary. As are all his team. I wish your mother a very swift recovery
  12. I would like to add my views. Hamish has been to deal with a number of tree "issues" for me. This has included pruning an enormous sycamore in weather pretty much like we have right now. He and his team were unbelievably stoic and did a fantastic job. Another job included pruning a Holm oak which he did beautifully so it grew out in a way that was as unintrusive as possible but maintained the shape of the tree. I have recommended him to many friends and family and will continue to do so
  13. Hi there Would you be able to move a wardrobe and chest from a bathroom to outside my house for the council to collect either today or tomorrow? I know it's really short notice. Rachel
