  1. Falling attendances would not be good for TV. Given the increase in TV money perhaps what clubs get could be linked to the percentage of the ground they fill. This could or would make it economically preferable to reduce ticket prices and thus sell more tickets. If there are no fans there is no product to sell. I don't know much about the German model but it seems to work for fans.
  2. Squad being announced tomorrow. I think it will be more about who doesn't get picked for a while! JW should be picked as a 10 but having commitments in France may not be in his favour.
  3. I was sorry to read on twitter that some/one of the visitors was attacked by 'yobs' after the game. Palace fans supposedly. Anyone know about this?

Can you clarify how that would work? There's a CL Final at stake :)
  5. What about a secret prediction for the minute the first goal is scored in either match which would probably be the first match? In the event of a draw then the nearest to it would qualify for the final.
  6. If the scores are level RD, what's the rule? If say both OT and I predict the same results then we would know it's a draw before the matches even happened.
  7. Man City 1 West Ham 1 Everton 2 Fulham 0 Southampton 3 West Brom 1 Stoke 1 Norwich 1 Wigan 2 Tottenham 1 Newcastle 2 Liverpool 1 Reading 1 QPR 2 Chelsea 2 Swansea 1 Arsenal 1 Man Utd 3 Aston Villa 1 Sunderland 1

What would he have got if they were?

Anything else you want to throw at me? I don't want to throw anything at you. I just get fed up with the everyone who leaves Arsenal is a tosser type of thing that you write. Why Arsenal are so better than say Spurs. Basically getting angry at what any footballer does that you don't like. Who gives a sh*t. It happens. You can't change clubs like a player can. You're stuck with it apart from the few 'fans' who actually change clubs. My father GRHS supported Man City when I was a kid........just to annoy me!

Eh, no. And you are how?
  11. Who is Paul Smith? I've heard women over the years talk about brands.........but men. What's gotten into you?
  12. What divisions were first and second Lanark in? Did St.Bernards relocate to Switzerland?
  13. Interesting to note a club can go through a season unbeaten and be relegated. You're also missing out on the fact that L'arse weren't the first team to go through a season unbeaten in the league. Preston North End did it first and also won the cup in the same year. Spurs did the double before Arsenal and they won a European Competition before them too. Did Arsenal do anything first? Bribing their way into the first division maybe? ETA MU have already WON mores games this season than Arsenal did the season they didn't lose any.

RVP could have gone to City for more money. He has spent the bulk of his career at Arsenal. He is a footballer not a fan. Arsenal SOLD him. Arsenal are a selling club. Maybe that will change when they are financially secure. What would you have done differently to RVP?
  15. But in a court SJ wouldn't past convictions be ignored? A jury should only judge the particular offence in question.
  16. I've been doing some swatting and Defoe was booked and because of FIFA's stance on retrospective action the FA couldn't do anything. Defoe had just been fouled 3 times by the same player. I think Suarez's punishment is harsh though given what some people have got 3 game bans for. I think if you break a players leg for example you shouldn't be allowed play again until that player has recovered. That might get rid of the really bad so called tackles.
  17. From what I just read it was SWP but during an international training session. WH sued the FA in 2011.
  18. Are you not allowing yourself an inflationary increase Alec?
  19. I may have missed the point but why would anyone want to eat on the street? Isn't it rude?
  20. Gatland was supposed to keep it quiet but it would appear not in Wales. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/international/britishandirishlionsrugby/10008892/Picking-Sam-Warburton-as-Lions-captain-would-create-a-real-headache-in-the-back-row.html A headache according to Brian Moore.
  21. Mick are to trying to take credit for the above cut and paste job? http://thescore.thejournal.ie/bergamasco-odriscoll-dump-tackle-878943-Apr2013/?utm_source=shortlink A more recent dump tackle on BOD............yesterday!
  22. Where did the ref get 6 minutes injury time in Liverpool's game yesterday and then play almost 7?
  23. > Tuesday 23rd April 2013 > > Bayern Munich 2 Barcelona 0 > > > Wednesday 24th April 2013 > > Bor Dortmund 1 Real Madrid 1
  24. Good news for our local team Dulwich Hamlet. Two homes left and 4 point max required for automatic promotion.
  25. More or less but in addition they got relegated the season following promotion each time.
