CP is great for 3 or 4 day breaks. If you go to the one in Wiltshire you can use the 'train' to get around.

I'd guess that in August it would be difficult to rent a cottage for a few days i.e less than a week. Saying it's on a budget doesn't tell us much really as we are all on budgets even if they are different. Does it have to be by the coast? Does it have to be in England? What are you hoping for ideally?

Hi There Your Friendly Neighbourhood Psychic...

Dear H. I'm at a crossroads in my life and have been there for some time.I keep hearing Nothing Rhymed by Gilbert O' Sullivan. How do I get this out of my head and what should be there? Can you help? PS My brother knows Duncan B if that helps? -
I still won as I backed it EW. Given the prizemoney I guess 3rd place would be at least ?30k?
-
I but a few pence on Moth EW on the basis that you don't pay ?30k to enter a horse unless you're pretty sure of it.

What about a 3 team final RD?

Stephen Hendrey thinks it's as good as over before the final even starts.

Gave me a 2 goal advantage over Otta I believe. Of course it wasn't decisive but using a bit of logic helped maximise the advantage. If we had predicted different outcomes to the games it wouldn't have mattered of course. I'm leaving the country now..........

Ever since me and my kid brother got a deluxe version of subbuteo for Christmas and he moaned to everyone that I had to spend 3 hours reading the rules before playing with him, I've been scarred.

The fact is Max I 'won' my place in the final in part due to a flaw in the rules. I didn't post it on here due to the fact RD appeared to give the impression I was a serial whiner which you have picked up on. I did however let my opponent know. So I now relinquish my place in the final to Otta. This will give you more time to reassess my posts on the loopholes in rules I may have pointed out. I look forward to you quoting one which could be classified as a whine :) PS Thanks RD for organising the prediction games this season. I do think it merits its own thread if you continue next season.

I didn't think you would start the mind games so soon. Still, if you want to change 'the rules' as you haven't got it in you to make a prediction it's up to you ;-)

Hi ratty, why did you choose Hayes? Was it for work reasons or just the best value for money place you could find that ticked all the boxes?
-
Thanks Saffron for the very clear response to my question and to Oxalis for the recommendation. And of course to all the previous contributions.

How's the relegation fight going?

UDT was possibly the most popular and enlightened poster on the EDF of all time, only to be hounded out by the 'jealous crew' who didn't like someone being more clever than them!

Admittedly I haven't set the season alight in the league RD, but I think the chance of European glory is a redeeming factor. I trust maxxi won't be getting a 5 point start?

Mick.......... a) You claimed to be my advisor not so long ago b) You have failed to understand the nuances involved in the 2nd leg predictions as they were entirely tactical on my part c) Yes mistake

Just wondering if there is any point in this. My niece has posted some horrible things about her father and older sister on FB. As I still have a line of communication with her, though not often, could I potentially make matters worse by sending her a message asking her why she wrote what she did? Not saying she was right or wrong, but just asking the question. My hope would be it would spark a thought in her that maybe she shouldn't have, but I don't know. Is this a no no? Even contemplating asking the question could simply be my ignorance of the illness.

So the council can do this but it's illegal to do similar if you've lost a cat for example. That makes sense doesn't it.

I'd have liked to have seen Madigan picked as a third no.10 who can play elsewhere. I'm sorry Zebo isn't going as he's exciting to watch. The selections of Hartley & Stevens leave me cold. No Rory Best either. Too many crooked darts? Still there will be replacements even before the tour starts I bet.
