If I'm walking on a footpath and a woman is walking towards me, I am in the habit of moving to the roadside of the path as I think for some strange reason it is good manners. I must have been brainwashed.

I can't help thinking that what happened in Serbia during the week has had an influence on some players being frustrated by what isn't being done to rid football of racism. Being asked if I'm from the North or the South. Answering 'the midlands', I'm then asked,'is that in the North or the South'? I then try and explain that parts of the South are more northerly than parts of the North and vice versa of course. I think the loan element increases or decreases dependent on any 'grant' entitlement there might be. My son's loan is ?1020 this term but he also gets a grant based on my income in a particularly 'poor' year which happened after redundancy.
