I think telling anyone to 'move on' is really patronising. -
I would question why it needs ?400 spent on 'not major things'? It would be interesting to know what it would fail it's MOT on. Have you considered trying somewhere else just in case you aren't getting good advice? I'd say and I'm no expert, that if you do need to spend that sort of money it's probably not worth doing it for what you would get, given the age of the car.

Thank you for the score LM but where's the match report or at least the HT score? Just realised from reading of the Hamlets poor FA Cup record, the last time I went to see the senior team was when they got into the 1st round proper,about 10 years ago.

Thanks for that Mr.Ben. I've got 4 walls featured in my bedroom. I'd be in deep sh*t if I didn't. That's an interesting thought. I've lived here 20+ years but I wouldn't have a clue how to measure the value of the place. I still call the 7-11, well the 7-11. I know it isn't anymore. The changing of shops and pubs have passed me by. I reckon though than there are more now I would never go into, than there were when I first moved here. -

I agree Ridge it is a serious issue. I don't know what the procedure is for having an official demonstration/march but presumably it needs police permission. I don't see why every demonstration/march has to be banned though. Surely on the grounds of public safety selective marches could be banned like the proposed EDL one.
