Thanks for that Mr.Ben. I've got 4 walls featured in my bedroom. I'd be in deep sh*t if I didn't. That's an interesting thought. I've lived here 20+ years but I wouldn't have a clue how to measure the value of the place. I still call the 7-11, well the 7-11. I know it isn't anymore. The changing of shops and pubs have passed me by. I reckon though than there are more now I would never go into, than there were when I first moved here.

I agree Ridge it is a serious issue. I don't know what the procedure is for having an official demonstration/march but presumably it needs police permission. I don't see why every demonstration/march has to be banned though. Surely on the grounds of public safety selective marches could be banned like the proposed EDL one.

On the FA's own site it says 3pm. Can't see why it wouldn't be unless they were expecting a large drunken crowd to attend. Perhaps they're trying to sidestep Laddy and friends?

Agree with Otto that Liverpool look much better this year. I can't understand why they let Meireles go though. I thought that he was just finding his feet at the end of last season. I can't see Bellamy playing a major part but he enhances the squad options. Given Gerrard has still to return I'd expect Liverpool to be better than Arsenal and Spurs this season. They may even be better than Chelsea who haven't convinced me of their worth yet. United look like they will be better to watch this year than last but a top midfielder would have been good to get. Who knows with City? They wont be allowed wear those scarfs around their necks this Winter.

I read on a link from the Ryman League website that this is a 12 noon k.o. I'm sure it must be wrong but can anyone confirm it?

I got one of those in The Irish Shop and the lady there seemed to know all about them. You could ask her if you can stomach it!

My son's bedroom in particular used to get loads of them. To allow him to keep at least one window opened we got this netting specifically for the purpose.Easy to attach and solved the problem.
