  2. It's a shame the royals are such an ugly looking bunch. I'm half convinced that this was for women what the world cup is to men. At least FIFA couldn't decide the venue with this one!

  4. Not sure what to make of your comments Laddy, but I take it from your signature that you are a commie!

United were fairly lucky that night but it was the first time an English team got that far since English teams were banned from Europe (Heysel). It was a commonly held view that when English teams did return to Europe, European football had moved on. It took English clubs some time to readjust to it. 1-0 wins can be one sided but surely not as much as 4-0 or 3-0 one's of which there were several. Blinkered view from that poster as appears to be the norm.
  6. Oh......what are Daily Mail readers then? I saw one on the train yesterday and wondered what vibe I should be sending his way. I had the Metro. Is that ok or what? I don't take it home.
  7. Can you define a person by the newspaper they read?
  8. What question did oilworker ask hunc?
  9. Who were all those people who were on the streets today hunc? They seemed happy about something from the bit I watched.
  10. Great job the neighbours did then.
  11. WTF is that all about? I read a thread about a local school in the ED section and the White Middle Class is referred to on numerous occasions. Who are these people? Is it something that's engraved on your arse when you are born? Is it similar to the Indian caste system? Does Middle mean 'average'. Not great but not bad either. Do I need to know which one I belong to? How many are there? Is it to do with how you think or how wealthy you are? If so, what do you need to think to be in any particular class and how much does it cost? I've lived here for a good deal of my life but I have never classified myself as any particular class. Is that something others would do for me? I enjoy living here but this 'system' makes me wonder how a nation of sane people feel the need to have it. Much the same as my thoughts on the royal family. Would grown ups not grow out of this sort of stuff? Which bit is real please?
  12. You obviously!
  13. Bluerevolution Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > wasn't that the infamous 9 minute "Fergie time" at > the end of 90 mins, 2 goals scored in that time? No it wasn't BR. Fergie time was introduced when United beat Sheff. Wed in the league when he won it for the first time. Steve Bruce scored the winner if I remember correctly. It was 6 minutes not 9. The CL winner in 99 was early in added time.
  14. She didn't exactly say that ????'s but if that's what she meant I'd find that mildly irritating. But that's all. Same as I would with anyone pretending to be something they're not. I think the most annoying one's are the one's who don't seem to realise how shallow they appear.
  15. My concern is a debate by anonymous people on this thread about a named head teacher. Apart from the unfairness of this it also makes other heads in the area nervous and concerned about whether working in our community is such a good idea for them. James I don't understand how you consider this to be a valid statement, when this debate is a result of a head teacher reporting someone to the police. If that hadn't occured there wouldn't have been a newspaper story and no thread on here.
  16. I really hope you are not a true Brit.

    Scandalous

She's very pretty. Are her boobs real though?
  18. I thought the response by the MP put this in context. She said she wasn't looking for an apology as she had been patronised by better men than him. This is all much ado about nothing.

So it was deeply offensive to United fans but now it's just a couple you happen to have met. What have horses for courses got to do with anything in this context? I work with a kid originally from Africa now living in London. He put on his facebook page that seeing United for the first time (at Wembley) was the greatest moment of his life. He's United crazy but he's never been to OT. Can't afford it. His girlfriend is about to have his baby. Funnily enough he said that in Zimbabwe he was the odd one out as most people support Liverpool. Not sure how many have ever seen Liverpool play. At least he has been to 1 game.I'll let him know how irritated you are by him.

If there are any witnesses here to this supposed crime please put your hand up. Otherwise stop buying crap newspapers.
  21. I'm sorry to disagree with you Mick Mac but Lennon is silly to give idiotic people some more ammunition. I can understand wanting to take his side (as I do) but he should try and distance himself from it and not get involved. He has not been a manager too long and maybe he will learn that his actions affect people who support Celtic. Some fans will think it is ok to respond to provocation, as the manager himself does. The club and he must find the higher ground if all this crap is ever to be wiped out of Scottish football.
  22. I would have to say that both yourself and matthew seem very selective about what you respond to. Maybe it's just blinkered vision.
  23. Read this Anna Also, I think you need to differentiate between being a fan and being a supporter.
  24. I want to know is Charlotte for real? She's been very quiet. As for you BL, you're from Sale, Cheshire. You told us so yourself.
  25. Good performance from United though hard to know how Schalke got to a semi. I think they froze on the night.
