  1. If you would do this to how people write, what would you do to people who don't speak proper eh? Those who can't pronounce r's or the Irish who can't pronounce th's. I think the OPoster should name and shame herself. Fancy using '??'.

I've never been there but I think the place is awful, from what I've read about it. I've never been there but I think the place is great and just what the village needs, from what I've read. BTW How many are there?

They won it a few times, realised it cost too much to host and made sure they lost thereafter. That trend should be kept going with this years selection. I'll admit I haven't heard the song but I've seen those kids with that hair. Who'd vote for that?

If only the > limitation could be selectively imposed... Do you realise Jeremy that you can have your least favourite consecutive posters on 'hide'? This means you don't have to read the irritating stuff they have to write. What's more you can 'hide' those non consecutive posters you don't like much either! In fact I have most users on hide and spend ages trying to find something to read (generally my own posts). You must have slipped through the net;-)which is how I ended up here. Not that I find your posts irritating you'll understand, it's just I enjoy using the 'hide' feature and of course using the forum makes me feel part of the local community.
  6. What is your issue with this happening? A similar thing has happened to me in the past. I had a new phone and had incorrectly memorised the number as being ****************300 whereas it was actually ***************330. I realised that I had given the wrong number to a number of people who fortunately in my instance I was able to contact and correct the matter with. I can't see what your suspicions are about. Where did I say I am suspicious? I asked a simple question which you failed to answer. Your example is of just giving someone a wrong number. That's not a two digit switch in my book! Besides if Ben ever comes back here I'm sure he will happily explain how it happened and probably thank me for keeping this thread alive by having to deal with do gooders like yourself. Right, in the event of Ben not returning, can anyone explain how the two digit switch works? Serious answers only please.
  7. I always thought that Wogan made the Eurovision worth watching. Those were the days my friend I thought they'd never end.................

  9. How do you know that?
  10. Has she got better?
  11. I guess it's those early kick offs that make the pub so expensive. By the time you have left the pub rat arsed at closing time it would have cost you a fortune. Maybe MU tv is the way to go?
  12. Since when did something politically unsubtle bother you hunc or what modern parents might or might not tolerate? I read the Beano and I just don't care!
  13. Read the anecdote near the end. Sums him up.
  14. My charming and lazy teenage boy passed his some months ago. Most things can be loaned from the library and there are websites which offer free practice tests. He was due to due his practical test last week but they cancelled it at the last minute. He was very happy with Michael as an instructor. If you want his number PM me.
  15. If you don't want the responsibility always use a condem was my motto, when it mattered.

Julio, he forgot to mention the pre drinks medical for newbees. Are you free of any rare illnesses? That passed, I'm sure you will meet lots of new friends and on your way home be already looking forward to the Xmas Drinks.
  17. What's the difference between delicious and tasty?
  18. It's almost an extra half a season's worth of matches required to win the Europa. It can't be especially worthwhile financially (can it?) and for some clubs it's stretching their resources too much. Also an awful lot of uninteresting matches on TV IMO.
  19. That's exactly what it is with too many games and Thursday football leading to Sunday football. Can a club opt out of it if they choose?

    Ask Admin

Dear Admin I'm sure I declared my love for someone in the fooball thread this morning and it appears to have been deleted. If I can remember who it was, where should I do this in future? Alan

  22. Do you ever feel misunderstood Laddy? If so, there's probably a good reason for it! Come on United..........Dundee that is!
  23. Good luck to Spurs. At least 'Arry has tried to build a team not buy one.
