  1. Well I used to own the album JLS..........the seagull one. Sung by Neil Diamond. I've witnessed Karma today. So what the fuck is your problem? I'm not a hippy. Protected were you? Where WILL the children play?
  2. RIP Laddy..........Resist If Possible..............obviously not in your case.
  3. How's your pulse Katie?
  4. No, not at all. Never been asked. I see myself more of a lollypop man.
  5. But it does interest me. ED is perfectly happy without chains. You must know that? I'm just trying to keep standards up in the Lounge. Can't you have a Jemmy or something? Group hug........noooooooo.
  6. Thanks for the input everyone.
  7. I'd like to know how one can be greater than or equal to the same thing with a name change? Anyone?
  8. See Chapel of Rest thread if you like to write about those who have passed away.
  9. Frankito, do you not realise that positive threads about chain stores is just not on here? Do I care about flat whites....no. OK?
  10. The diagnosis was from a much recommended (on here) professional. Motherboard and something else not working and not worth replacing. Money better spent on a new one.It wouldn't boot up any more. Mind you the laptop has visited quite a bit of the world and been used a lot. I'm not an accountant.........I'm human.;-)
  11. My OH's has just died a death. We paid over ?700 for it less than 3 years ago. My son's PC died a few weeks ago too. Bought at the same time I believe though I can't find the receipt for that. Probably cost a similar amount. Is this just that they were Dell products and they are crap or is this to be expected? Doesn't seem like good value for money. Can anyone recommend any very light laptops and/or any laptop/pc deals(if there is such a thing) atm?
  12. Which coverage will you follow, ITV or Sky? I don't particularly like ITV or Jim Beglin for that matter, but they have Roy Keane as a pundit tonight. That could be interesting.
  13. Laddy, just trying to get the full picture. How much time elapsed between the pub and being found at home? What sort of injuries were they? Is it a fair assumption that given her condition someone might have escorted her home? Did you leave the pub together? If there wasn't a third party involved by spiking her drink, she must have a medical condition she is unaware of. If you google 'why do I have a blackout' you will see quite a few possibilities.
  14. I assumed nylonmeals meant Lullingstone Castle which is alive and kicking. It's home to a pretty unique 'World Garden' where one of the family collected plants from all over the world and created this garden in the shape of the atlas view of the world. There used to be a little known series on BBC about how the family were trying to maintain the Castle. The guy whose garden it is was once kidnapped in the Amazon forest while searching for plants and held hostage.

  16. I've heard there is a clan of knitters in the depths of the New Forest. Very little evidence has been gathered about them but a keen local group of knitspotters have found some half finished jumpers and scarfs during their treks. Story goes that then can be lured out by leaving large amounts of strawberries for them, but nothing to prove that just yet.
  17. Love - Spuds Hate - the word hate, nobody should
  18. What would group knitters do Sophie? I'm just curious.
  19. Why don't you say that it's you and not your 'friend'. Are you being truthful or are you telling a porky already?
  20. You just need to lower the bar and address 'bachelors'. Unless you define eligible who is going to put their hand up only to be shot down in flames? Bachelor is easy to understand. Bound to get a better response. BTW if you are in the market for something then perhaps you should give a sample of what you have to offer.
  21. And if they weren't?
