Which bit is ignorant? Shag is just a word, as is slut. I don't like either. You'd go on a slutwalk because it means something much more profound. It's ok though cause of something someone said in Canada or somewhere.

Most people dress for others even if they wont admit it. How do you explain why men wear ties? If I had to live at home on my own I wouldn't iron a shirt. I wouldn't shave. Dress like a slut and you shouldn't get raped. Leave your windows and doors open and you shouldn't be robbed. Get robbed and your insurance will be invalid because you left your windows and doors open. In which case it makes sense to lock them when you are not at home. Is there not a case for not dressing like a 'slut' (whatever that means)so as not to provoke an unwanted reaction?
